Working on a possible tour Friday of Charleston. Is this something that you would like to do? Other agenda items would be a Low Country Boil Saturday night.
Will bring a tossed salad/dressing for the Saturday night.

Had to change our reservations because of Drs and PT so will be in late Wed afternoon (16th) and leaving on the 20th.
Nathan & I would like to Thank everyone who came to the Tennessee Rally. Many had fun exploring the area, driving on the new extension of the Foothills Parkway and of course going down the Dragon. Shopping is always in the agenda.

Winding down a fun weekend in the Smoky Mountains with the Tennessee Rally. Great food and wonderful folks having a awesome time.
The Heartland Gives Back project was to the Sevier County Food Ministry. Thanks everyone for giving from your heart.

Welcome Cliff and Sharon and glad to have ya'll coming to the SE Regional Rally. As for the event fee, it will not be required until next spring, March 1 and the mailing address is shown on post #1.
Heartland Gives Back: Sevier County Food Ministry. This Ministry helps feed the homeless in the area and is in need for protein items. Their biggest demand is for peanut butter as well as can meats (tuna, chicken, spam, etc). Lets help them by bringing as many cans as you can give. Collection...

Just talked with the campground who have moved a couple of us around to try to get the group closer together. This will only effect the interior sites and not the river side. I have updated the site numbers according to the campground list.

Fantastic news Jim and understand about the pulling the camper from CO. It is a long way which we have done a couple of times and for us Eastern'rs - the Rockies are a blast.

Registration is now open. When registering, let them know you are with the Heartland Owners Club rally. Once you have made your reservation with the campground, please post on this thread so we know you are coming.
OK everyone that plans to go to the Florida rally from GA,
1. how are ya planning to go?
2. are ya planning a layover and where?

Fantastic - hope things work for you guys. The Citadel is a wonderful school.
The safest route is I-40 east from Sevierville to the Waynesville exit 27 which is hwy 74 to exit 81 which is Hwy 23. This is the way we are coming which is pretty much 4 lanes. I would NOT go 441 with a big camper over the mountains which has quite a few switchbacks which I wouldn't attempt...
For the ground anchors, we use The Claw. EZ to drive into the ground and with the angle nails, doesn't pull out of the ground. They are super great in sandy soil.
