I'm on my third Dodge Ram Diesel 02, 04.5 and now 08. Only problem so far was a in-tank fuel pump. The 08 has about 103,000 mi on it. Getting ready to get a 2015 Ram 3500 SRW. I don't drive a Dodge because it's a Dodge, I drive it because it has a Cummins in it. Before I bought my first diesel I...
Some of us are eating at the new Pizza Ranch(buffet) this evening. We can meet there around 5PM. Come and join us. Don't like pizza? They also serve chicken and a ton of other stuff. Yum, yum.
When we ordered our BH 3010RE we had the factory install the door to where it would open to the left. On the 3010's I believe this is the way they are now being installed.
Bontragers is good and there is another one in that area. Ask at Bontragers and they will give you their name and directions. I was not impressed with RV Parts Nation. Have checked them out several times now.
On one of my previous rigs I took the rig to a weld shop. The only thing you might have to do is redrill the mounting holes if the shop won't do it. Worked great, probably stronger than before.
Actually the board comes off fairly easy. The work comes in getting all the silicon glue off afterwards. Just apply steady pressure as you're trying to pull the board off the wall. At the same time use a putty knife to "cut" the silicon glue behind the board. Work at it from all sides that you...
My black gate was leaking a bit and the cable was kind of springy. At the factory they found out that they had installed the wrong cable. They replaced it with a shorter one. Now the pull is more positive and not leaking.
I think there is a misconception about the 6 pt level up. It is a leveling system and not a stabilizing system. Rear jacks would certainly help out the situation.
Welcome to the Heartland family, Mike and Bridgette. We all help each other out, so feel free to ask any questions. Somebody always has the answer. See you at the rally and maybe even sooner.
Judi and I will be there. Wouldn't miss any National. Really looking forward to it. Maybe we could do a pre pre rally again in Elkhart like we did last year.
I replaced mine with a Pegasus. Pricey, but got in on a closeout at HD. The threaded stems under the sink were shorter than the OEM so I used extensions on the faucet so the PEX lines would reach. They were leaking so plumberdude took them off at the Sweethart Rally and was able to pull on the...
Thanks Bob, Christine and all your helpers for putting on such a great rally. Judi and I had a fantastic time. It was our first Canadian rally although we have camped at Niagara Falls before. Hope to see some of you at the Goshen Rally next year Eh.
Michele and Mark, welcome to the Heartland family. We are here to help each other. Make sure you check out the many rallies across the country. They are so much fun.
I'm thinking if the valve was not fully closed then the water would have slowly drained the tank into the sewer and would not have overflown when he showered. Check your underbelly and see if it is bulging down indicating that it might be full of water.
I have used the kingpin tripod and it will help. Like it's been stated, a stabilizing system is a much better way to go. I used the SteadyFast system (http://www.steadyfast.com/) and I like it better than the JT's.
