Landmark Chokes Between the Bathroom and the Bed

I noticed when I have looked at new Landmarks, that the one thing that my wife and I found disconcerting was that you have to either walk through the bathroom, or turn sideways, when you walk between the all-in-one bathroom and the bed. One friend ordered the queen sized bed, but they still had...

Larry the headhunter is getting operated on

Quick update. Pain med doc has a plan. Knock off 5mg. of methadone a week, to get off the serious stuff first, and if I have to take an extra oxy for break thru pain, take it. It seems that it will take forever, but I must have patience. Oh well, I got a taste of withdrawal last night, when I...

Larry the headhunter is getting operated on

Hi folks, Well today makes it 4 weeks to the day from my lumbar spinal fusion surgery. Never thought I would see this day, on July 1, when they splayed me open and cleaned out the mess in my back, and made me the titanium man. BH 3410 On Order!

Geonkat, good luck with your new rig. I have the 3400RE, and it's a great rig. You can see everything from the bedroom to the back window, without obstruction, and we love ours, so I know you made the right choice. The only difference between ours and yours is that we didn't have a rear...

Howdy everyone, I never thought I would consider myself a cult figure, and I still don't, lol, but honestly I am beginning to feel obligated to win this battle of back surgery that I am enthralled in. So many Heartlanders have taken me on as family, and made me feel that they are sharing my...

    Pressure Pro Monitoring System Question

I have had the Pressure Pro system in my storage area for about 2 years Pat. Maybe when we get to Buellton this October you can help the non-techie install the system. It took me two years to get Goodyear 614's with the rigid metal stems on the tires. So please Pat and Mike don't go anywhere...

    Black tank odor and leak

While you at it, you might want to get one of those spinning cyclone at Camping World that swirls around and sucks out any foul odors. Worked for me. Never smell tank odors again! Even a gentle breeze rotates the Cyclone 360° to follow the wind. It creates a powerful vortex that pulls...

    Maximum Water pressure

Hi all, I read in my Heartland Owners Manual ala Feb 2008 that said distinctly 65 lbs PSI was the maximum water pressure Heartland would guarantee. That is pretty clear to me. Center Point Suspension System- Shocks or No Shocks

    Memorial Day 2010

I know all of us Vietnam Vets really appreciate the praise. As the history books show our kids and grandchildren, many of the Vietnam Veterans came home to fruit and veggies thrown at them and being called baby killers. That really hurt bad. I am happy to say that over the last 10-15 years...

Hensley TS3 Double Air Bag Hitch with the 5th Airborne Hitch Pin Box

Tom, your pics were invalid. I spoke to Aaron at Hensley and he told me that since I already have the air compressor hooked to the TS3, it was overkill to get the automatic sensor, and just set the air bags at the white line when I hook up. The gauge in my cab adjusts the air bags on the run...

Center Point Suspension System- Shocks or No Shocks

I should add to my original post that since Lippert didn't recommend shocks, they installed the "poor mans" solution of CP suspension without them. I also have a Mor/Ryde Pin Cushion. front landing gear, how high can it go?

The click, click, click you hear, and the landing gear stops moving usually tells you when you have reached the highest it will go. I wouldn't keep pressing the button, once you reached that spot, as many of the previous posters said, you might not like the results.
