I'd also go with the Barker. Both of my travel trailers had Barker tongue jacks. I don't know about Trailer Star, but Barker products are made in USA (Michigan) and replacement parts are readily available.

Exactly. Also, normally the battery area for a 9v is only large enough for a properly connected battery to fit into the area (box). Don't forget a 9v battery and steel wool makes a great fire starter.
