Our strainer has a hairline crack in it on the back side so you couldn’t see it. Leaked under pressure. You can replace just the strainer

PUROGENE…the best water tank purifier out there!! Developed for the marine industry it does not use bleach - which takes forever to flush out and is bad on your seals. It uses lemon juice to activate the chemical in it and 1 flush and you’re done.

Well this rain soaked rally just finished and it was a ball. Even though things had to be rearranged and even cancelled, everyone seemed to make the best of the breaks in the storms. We have a fellow Heartland friend who had a blowout of his spare WHILE IT WAS IN THE CARRIER!! Yes - replace the spare. We had another Heartland friend who replaced their blowout with the spare - drove 50 miles and had a blowout on the spare - this one cost them a couple thousand to have repairs...

We also learned from our dry camping days in the mountains that peppermint oil is a great deterrent. We used cotton balls that we dropped some oil on and put it in the corners where there could be an entrance and we went from mice to no mice.

SOLVED - leak found, part ordered. After drying out the area overnight - we turned the water back on and immediately found the drip coming from the by pass valve and the 90* joint. No fix must replace. - cost ~ $75.. heartland parts department was awesome and we had part ordered immediately..

thanks Dan - but unless that water is transfering via some unknown means...the leak appears to be at the by-pass valve - or at least the wet wood indicates that. Everything that i tested around the water heater was dry and no visual sign of leaking.

2014 BH 3010re...we have been traveling all summer with no issues. (knock on wood) Earlier this week we did routine maintenance on the rig - including checking the anode for wear. all was good, anode reinstalled and water turned back on. We now have a small leak in the area that we cannot...

Follow up. Replaced Studor valve - now no smell. Back flushed all tanks with King Flush. We were able to back flush 40 gal into the galley grey. Then, after flushing again, we put 40 gal down the sink with a hose. So...the good news is there is no blockage and the tank is not full. Looks like...

we have that and are going to try today. The 3 things that have been suggested by a tank cleaning company are 1- the back flush valve at the drain 2- putting a hose down the galley(kitchen) sink vent pipe and 3 - plunger.

We have an issue with our kitchen grey tank. 5 days ago we dumped everything. Did not use kitchen sink for 2 days except for very minor use. Day 3 when using kitchen sink the sink backed up. Dumped all tanks and while the black and shower grey drained fine the kitchen grey drained very little...

Just to add to this thought - we just finished attending the non-rally in Oregon and it was a blast. There was virtually no organization and everyone was fine with that. Groups would fire pit at different rigs every night we could, an impromptu musical evening sprung forward w/ fun side dishes...

We just had our rig aligned at Henderson’s in Grants Pass, Or. Nice to know that after 5 years of cross country driving the i/s was still aligned pretty close. One of the best upgrades we did was the i/s and disk brakes..

absolutely could and might..but I’m still trying to figure out why the font changed last week on its’ own (or that i fat fingered)..if i could change it accidentally to bigger font i should be able to change it back to small or normal font.
