    Water From Beneath Shower Enclosure

You might try taping some plastic over the access panel and then running water again. That would at lease eliminate the access panel as a problem. When you spray water try not to get anything else wet, like the shower door track or shower valve. I always start at the lowest point of possible...

    batteries draining

I had a battery drain problem this last month which may not be of any help to you. The first night we got to MorRyde for the IS install, the power went out. I turn on the inverter to run my CPAP machine for the night. Next morning my 4 batteries (400 amps) we’re down there 350 amps. Wow...

Independent Suspension Upgrade to 8-year old FW

I followed hogladyrider 3 days later at MorRyde getting IS put on. My experience was about exactly the same except for power going out on the first nite. Went from 7k to 8k axles. They put on rubber springs to match the weight of my trailer. The 7ks are very beefy and the 8ks are even more...

Banging sound when I flush the toilet

Sounds like water hammer. My guess would be back flow preventer/check valve on toilet is not functioning properly. Can’t tell you how to service that. I’ve never had to do it. Don’t see how it could be the vent. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Commode Leak

Feel around the rear of the toilet on all water lines for any water. If nothing, flush the toilet and feel again. If nothing, then flush toilet and look at base of toilet. Laying flashlight flat on floor, pointed at toilet helps with this last test. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Here is the Sailun Tire Load/Inflation Table

I am planning on replacing them next year before our trip to Alaska. My original confusion was with weight rating. Do my LT tires include the safety margin, as Dan stated, and the ST does not including the safety rating. Other than that are they the same tire? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Here is the Sailun Tire Load/Inflation Table

But the load rating in the table was for ST tires. That’s what’s confusing. Even on their web site it has ST tire 4400# @ 110 psi. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Here is the Sailun Tire Load/Inflation Table

Thanks for the load rating table. My Sailun tires, S637 ST235/85R16 load range G, on my 2016 bighorn are rated at 3750 lbs @ 110 psi (stamped on the side of the tire). The table says 4400 lbs @ 110 psi. I must be missing something.

    sewer smell- need help

    Hydraulics question (Embarrassed) lol

Have slides in and all landing gear and front jacks raised. Then fill tank to fill line. Two knobs are for rear hydraulic slides. Screwing in one knob clockwise will prevent that slide from moving. Sometimes there’s labels, door and off door to indicate which knob is for which slide. If no...

    Heartland Bighorn Quality

I thought I’d post my thoughts on Heartland quality. We’ve had camping trailers for about 30 years. My attitude has always been, it’s better if you have some skills to fix things because it’s going to break. With new trailers it’s no different. We had a 2012 Bighorn and now have a 2016...

Solar System from Scratch - Magnum make a MSH series which adds inverter power to generator power for high load demands. It only inverts one 50A leg. It doesn’t invert both 50A legs. Edit: I’ll have to correct myself before someone else does. Magnum MS2812 does have two hot in and two hot...

    Black Tank Won't Drain Properly

In the early days of the 1.6 gpf toilets (around 1993 plus), I had a lot of customers who wouldn’t flush their toilet paper. Just bag it up. It’s not as uncommon as one might think. As a kid we had to do that on a farm near Bakersfield. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Drain re-routing ideas?

Sounds like you weren’t sure if it the shower drain or grey tank vent. If it’s the shower drain then Marc is correct, but I would suggest the 90 should be a long sweep 90. If it’s a vent then you should not run a vent horizontal below the flood rim of the fixture it is venting. In other words...
