Has anyone done a spiral ham and if so, did it remain juicy and how was it placed in the basket? Any other info would be appreciated. Turkey's and roasts have always turned out perfect provided I didn't stuff too large of a bird in the basket ... Needs to be less than 16lbs.
I'm with Kevin ... with a slider it's nice to know you can crank to 90 degrees if you need to. I have found although I can get in my driveway without sliding, it makes it easier and one less think to think about when I move the hitch.
Make sure you use the word "safety" in a reason for your purchase. Wives never argue when it comes to safety ... got me a better boat, and a better truck ... lol. Now, I hope she doesn't read this post.
Can anyone comment on the drive taking route 40 from the Asheville area to Dandridge? Particularly interested in grades and elevations (steep hills). After a bad experience last year in VA I wouldn't wish to re-enact.
Kelly, be careful running the AC in the colder (below 50) temperatures. It's less about getting the rig warm enough so the AC will come on and more about the damage you could do to the AC compressor trying to run it when the oil is so cold. You could cause damage that may not be covered under...
ahh, the old "good hitch" can of worms. There are as many opinions as there are members but ultimately, you have to make a decision and don't look back.
John ... can you elaborate on your failure? I am considering a much simpler lighting route ... Sylvania Silverstar ultra but don't want to waste the money if it's doomed for failure. Thanks
We're headed there the last week of August for the first time. We've heard great things about the campground. Take Deb's advice and join up with the owners club ... we can use some more NJ folks.
JR was scheduled to get out the 11th but that is now the 13th. Nicole doesn't get out until the 18th. It's testing week so we can't pull them for a couple days. Looking forward to seeing everyone in MA in July.
I've seen the ad's in the Costco Connections magazine for boat and RV financing and re-financing and never really paid attention. I'm always a bit of a skeptic and am a real believer that nothing in life is free. For some reason, I took a moment and went to the website provided to check things...
Had my truck in today for inspection of two outstanding front end recalls. All was OK. The dealer went over my truck from head to toe and made a point in saying what good condition it's in for 8 years old. Good thing because I don't have 60K for a new one. At 110K in miles, it's just getting...
Does anyone have a website they could share to check a VIN number to see if your vehicle is included? I have not received notification however I've moved since purchasing. Thanks.
