Hi Tommy/Linda,
We will be at the Stone Mountain Rally also. Since you've been here what are your must see/do's in the area?
For those who live near, what are your recommendations?
We will be in the area for almost 2 weeks.
Fred/ Leslie
Hello from sunny warm So Cal... Well maybe not today as it's forecast light rain. Well it will be again tomorrow.
We are coming out your way and were able to fit in this rally into our schedule. We are registered in site #131 from 4/23 thru 4/29.
Looking forward to our road trip and meeting...
Jay,
Ok, we can be removed as tentative; we have made our reservations for Branson. We reserved for the 10th to the 13th and will be in site #131. Though we may arrive earlier as the dates get closer.
Please order a size M & XL t-shirts.
Thanks,
Fred/Leslie Goossens
Hi Dave,
We are coming all the way out from CA to try and help you reach the 100 attendee goal!!
We will actually be on our cross country trip and would like to see how your Regional Rallys are done in the southeast. We have made our reservations with the park and will be there from 4/18 to...
Hi Lynn/Rose,
We're signing up as the 19th rig so everyone can get the discount rate! :D
We have reservations for the 11th thru the 16th. Looking forward to an Oktoberfest with the club.
Fred & Leslie
Hi Jay, We are currently planning a cross country trip and the Branson Rally may fit into our plans. Can you put us down as tentative and we will let you know when we finalize plans and have made our reservations with the park.
Thanks,
Fred & Leslie
Hello all fellow Temecula Rallyers:
We will be bringing our Corn Hole game and our Ladderball game, and would like to challenge anyone to a friendly match. If others have a set-up also bring them along and we may be able to have a tournament for Rally bragging rights.
Let us know if you would...
Hi Liz,
We are going to Temecula after Pahrump and will be spending several days between along the Colorado River near Laughlin. It will add less than 200 mi to the trip. The direct route from Pahrump is to head to Baker, CA and catch the I-15 to Temecula.
If you want to catch some...
Hi Rory,
As discussed, we will have non-HOC friends, Tom & Karen travelling along with us. They already have a site at the park.
We will be bringing grilled onions and cheese & crackers. We would like to have 1 hamburger and 3 chicken breasts.
Thanks, Fred
I've also seen the ones with a paper roll dispenser on the side so you can wipe your hands and face. And if you order the padded one, it'll be easier on your neck!
Hi Rory,
We made our reservation with Moab KOA. We are looking forward to it.
Looks like there will be a few North Trails there so we won't be too dwarfed with all the 5ers usually attending the rallies.
Fred/Leslie
Hi Shawn/Chris,
Yes the upgraded mattress is full length size. A RV mattress is 6" shorter. It will overhang the base plywood by that amount. We have a 2015 NT26LRSS and the Caliber Edition does not upgrade the bed but does include the rear bumper carrier. Although our rear bumper is the...
Hi Bob,
We will now be coming in a day early on the 27th, Thursday. We are supposed to reserve this day with you. Do I pay you for this day too or the resort?
Let me know and I will get you 1 check in the mail.
Fred
Hi marc,
We have the 26lrss. If you are looking at a Caliber edition, the box is actually 27' including the front cap. From back of the box to the hitch is a little over 30' not including the rear bumper. The Caliber edition includes the pullout rear bumper which adds another 3' or so.
The...
Hi LCowan: I see you did purchase this unit, congrats. We almost bought this same model, but chose to go with a North Trail 26LRSS. Your couch is located right next to the kitchen sink so check that there wasn't a leak or overspray from there. If you have flat counters, it may be water that...
Hi Mattman,
Kudos to you for covering your NT. I know not many do cover their rigs, but maybe it's due to unwillingness or unable to get onto the roof. I completely believe in covering due to the UV and what it does to the finish. We looked at several used 26lrss units 2-3 years old and the...
Personally, I would cover what you can. Tires are easier to cover, but also cheaper to replace than your RV surface. When we were looking for a trailer we looked at several just a couple years old before we bought new. The sun exposure had done some terrible things to the finish in just 2...
Hi Terry,
We would be interested in a campout in Page in Sept/Oct 2017. How about something in the Cottonwood or Prescott area? We've been to Dead Horse Ranch SP and loved it.
Keep us on your list,
Fred
Hi Bandit,
We have the NT26lrss with a similarly laid out kitchen as your model. The only 110v kitchen outlet on ours is located on the outside of the cabinet and below the counter top where the sink is next to the entry door. I installed an outlet on the underside of the overhead cabinet...
Hey Chuck and Victoria,
We'll be up in Big Bear Mtn. taking advantage of the recent snow to get in some skiing/boarding. Although our current warm weather is not going to allow it to last for long.
Have fun along the Santa Barbara coast. We love that area! We live a little South of you in...
Hi Securityman,
Thanks for the positive quote, always good to hear positive things about the brand and company we all chose to align ourselves with. And as we all read about on here, there are several unhappy and negative comments too, mostly regarding dealerships that don't follow through on...
We ordered our North Trail with everything we wanted. We replaced the barrel swivel rockers (stock) with recliners. Only issue is that you need to turn one of the recliners sideways when you slide-in to travel. Also due to the distance from the rear lounge to the tv, I recommend the largest tv...
Hey silvasp,
The 26lrss is a good choice. We looked at 22-23' TT's and found them too small for our comfort as well. You will be happy with the 26 footer. Good compomise for 2 people, giving you plenty of living space and a seperate bedroom. We love ours.
Let us know if you decide to upgrade.
Fred
2 elderly ladies are enjoying a nice soak in the hot tub. One of them reaches in to her bathing suit and pulls out a cigarette and lights it. The other, astonished, asks "Wow, how do you keep that dry enough to light?"
"Oh I just put it into a condom and roll up the open end." the first...
Hi lainest:
Are you buying off the dealer lot or ordering it?
We have a 2015 NT, but not the 22RBK. From the current units most dealers have the front cap looks like they are already a standard item; didn't see any without it. The front cap is actually dark brown in color and gives a more...
Hey Wayne,
Was that what you were trying to do? Corrupt us or get rid of us?
Well you're going to have to do better than that! You can't get rid of us that easily. Thanks Bob/Patty for putting it on and thanks to all for again welcoming us with open arms. Good times!!!
You'll be seeing us...
