Opened up the new trailer life last night to find that the feature was a Dodge Ram pulling a Heartland Prowler. Decent article on both, with a real good price range on the trailer. Trailer was a Prowler Sport 26P BH. Thought it was worth mentioning.

I can find all sorts of tanks for diesels. Is there an aftermarket "large" tank for gas engines, if not, why? I know "gas jobs" are in the minority when it comes to TV, but just a half-ton hauler.

I know it seems like a broken record, but you might want to start with Heartland Customer Service or Parts. That way you will get the correct one.

We are getting about the same milage with a 96 Dodge while towing, about 9 mpg @ 65 mph. With a 35 gal tank we are going about 220 miles and putting in 24 or so gallons. Still haven't taken the tank down to bone dry, the most I've put in it is 29 gal.

Might have to think about this one. We are going to be starting a week long trip on that Saturday. Still trying to figure out a spot to stay Sat to Tues morning.

Made it home, trailer is sitting in it's spot ready to go next week. Even though we could make it for less than 24hrs, we enjoyed the rally. Hope to make more in the future.

Went down to Williamsburg today for a day trip, needed a break from working. Stopped by the campground, decent set up. Just to let you know the manager said the site she gave us might not be the one we get. She said the reservation was for a spot, not a specific spot. Just a heads up.

Not sure how the faucets are in your Greystone. The ones in our Trail Runner were like a residential faucet, in that where the water comes out unscrewed. Just had a screen and an o-ring in it. You might lightly take a pair of pliers to it, but wouldn't try to twist too hard.

Another Sta-Bil product to look at is the marine variety. It is supposed to be good for ethanol gas.

A set of two-way radios is a decent investment. Leave one on the sun visor over the driver and the person backing up has the other. Keeps some of the arguments that might happen to a minimum.

Something else to look at is strainers for the faucets. Check to make sure they are clean and not stopped up. Might make a difference.

Makes sense, the battery got a little low over the winter. When I hooked the truck up it got a jolt to start charging.

The fuse is in the fuse box. After I did this I remembered having to ask the dealer about it last fall on our first trip. Memory loss at a young age. Still working on surround sound with the tv. I know it will work, just haven't got the right combination yet.

I think marc515 is looking for lifting blocks to raise the body height of the trailer. This way if pulled by a jeep it could be taken somewhat off road. marc515, I'm not sure of the configuration of the axle and springs, best would be to find out from a dealer if this mod would be possible.

We will be able to attend. I will be calling the campground in the morning to try to get the Good Sam rate and se if we can get near the group.

We are going to try to head to Williamsburg on the 14th. Right now there are still sites available in the campground. Just waiting on what my wife's schedule is going to be for that weekend, should at least be able to make it for wine and cheese.
