I recently had the similar situation where the converter fan was running more than usual. After a few days of being connected to shore power the battery started to cook. It turns out I put the wrong battery on the trailer. I connected an old battery that I know would not fully take a charge. By...
We have a 2011 North Country with a Norcold N611 refrigerator. Regarding the cooling fins inside the refrigerator, at the bottom right corner they are a little loose. Is this a problem? Do I need to re-seal the fins to the back of the refrigerator? If so, what type of adhesive/sealant do I need...
The pull-out bumper is an option that came with the trailer right from the factory. I'm sure the air getting behind it is what did it. I had a feeling it would come off. Since it's relatively inexpensive to replace and harmless when flying through the air I took a chance. It shouldn't have been...
Anybody else have the vinyl spare tire cover fly off on the first trip out on a brand new trailer? We have a North Country 22RBQ w/ back bumper mounted spare tire. The cover seemed a little sloppy to me but I figured the factory should know what they're doing. Sure enough it disappeared on our...
We recently added a memory foam mattress top now available at most dept stores and it's made a huge difference. I think the factory mattress lacked a cushion top which allowed the springs in the mattress to poke through to your body.
My coupler looks like the one in this photo. I found this photo it's not of my trailer. It looks like it has a lock on it but I haven't seen that lock anywhere either.
Is there a name for this new style:
We just bought this trailer in July of last year (2011) and have put about 300 miles on it. We're taking a 600 mile round trip in a few weeks. I read the E-Z lube instructions to service after the first 50 miles and I'm past that already. I've also read some complaints where owners found very...
I have a 2011 North Country 22RBQ. The specs from the dealer state the trailer has E-Z Lube axles. However upon inspection I found there are cotter pins through the castle nuts instead of a Tang Washer or Nut Retainer as described in the instructions available on the Dexter website (Dexter is...
This is kind of an extension of another thread, but specific to the mattress. We had a 2002 Rockwood that had a great mattress. We could kick ourselves for not swapping that mattress with the one in our new 2011 North Country 22RBQ. We're not sure if that was the original mattress as we bought...
I know what you mean about the vent in the bedroom ceiling. We have no vent there now and I miss it. I want to put a vent in myself, the wife is frowning on it but I see a vent up there in the not too distant future:). I plan on replacing the A/C vents in the kitchen/dinning room area to the...
We bought a Classic "Deluxe Poly Pro II" cover for our 25' TT back in 2008. It's the gray one with the white top it has CLASSIC printed on the front of it. It's a cheaper model, it started to break down significantly after the 2nd year. I patched it up for the 3rd year then bought an Anco...
OK add to the list a leaky kitchen faucet. We took the trailer out again this weekend and realized the cold water was leaking from within the cold water handle. I replaced all the O-rings and fixed it. This was our second trip out.
We are new owners of a 2011 North Country 22RBQ. After evaluating it at home for a few weeks then taking it out for the first time last weekend I have to admit we are a bit disappointed. There are some quality complaints and some design flaw complaints.
Here they are in list format:
Quality "fit...
The duct work in our 2011 North Country is weak. The fan on the AC unit blows a lot of air in the dump mode, but when the dump vents are closed the air coming through the ducts is almost undetectable. I like like the looks of that louvered adjustable vent in Jim's link. Shriver, did you try...
Thanks Jim and John,
The coupler has of a kind of a wide rim around the outer edge making it considerably wider than the common coupler most trailers have. I have the yellow bodied Reese "universal" lock that has an inverted "U" shaped bar that is supposed to fit down around the top of the...
Our 2011 North Country 22RBQ has a unique coupler. I have two "universal" coupler locks and neither fits. Anybody out there know of a lock that will fit?
Thanks
