We have stayed at Nashville Country and were Very Pleased! Folks were great as well as all the amenities. We will stay there anytime we are going thru Nashville to Indy.
Thanks for mentioning the bath. We have been researching and looking at 5ers and I am not excited about the Closet Toilet and the shower in the bedroom. If you know of specific models with a full separate bath that would be appreciated info.
Has anyone had experience with the Heartland Cedar Ridge TT - We are ready to move up from an MPG and looking at fifth wheels but this looks interesting - concerned about the patio doors during travel. Thanks
Thanks to all of you. You have all said the things I wanted and needed to hear. This forum is a perfect source for great info. Again, thanks to all of you.
Is there anyone fulltiming in a travel trailer. Its just the 2 of us and some of the travel trailers look pretty good on space and storage. We will be upgrading from an MPG 185. The fifth wheels look pretty large and a little too much space.
Last Summer we stayed at the Nashville Country RV Park in Goodlettsville - http://www.nashvillecountryrvpark.com/ - It was great - the folks were really nice and all facilities were good.
Colorado with the MPG -
We are headed to the Aspen area in Sept. We generally travel via Denver but are considering going via Independence Pass. Are there any issues this way? We will take the route our of Colorado Springs.

Nashville Country RV Park = 13 Miles North of Downtown Nashville on 31W North, right off of I-65, in Goodlettsville / Millersville - We stayed a couple of nights here - Very nice and friendly staff and the facilities were very clean, We will stay here again on our next trip from TX to IN.
In our 185 we tried several things including toppers etc. However we have finally found that the Coleman Queen air mattress is the best for us - Since we never use the couches and table we leave the area made for a bed all the time. The air mattress is great and we usually re-air about every...
We have a Pug and a Cavalier King Charles that always travels withus in our 185. Have never had any problems. We have a GMC Sierra Crew Cab and they ride in the back seat (they only need half) and there is still room for items we need to travel for daily use on the road. At night we have a...
Good Evening: We are 185 owners in Spring TX and have a question regarding the Water Heater. Hate to admit it but just tried to heat water this weekend after having the 185 after almost a year. Yikes I am afraid of the propane. We had great success lighting the stove top on the first try but...
We just finished our first real trip to Indiana to see our new grandson. We were very pleased with our 185 - it was perfect and even more pleased with the White River Campground in Cicero IN and with Nashville Country RV in Goodlettsville TN - Both of these parks were fantastic and the...
Rick and Deb - are you speaking of sleeping over at W-World for night - we are about to travel and had thought of that but were concerned about safety.
We have pulled our 185 with the 4Runner V6for about a year - same here - low gas mileage and concern for the engine strain - traded for GMC 8 cyl. 4 x 4 - so much better pull and confidence. We feel we can now go further distances and higher elevations - we will be traveling from Spring TX to...
Its the ADCO -for about $285 - smallest for a 20 Ft - has air vents - I can even leave a slight opening in windows and poptop air vent for air flow - rain or shine its vented - it works great - Hope your search is successful - Have a fantastic travel summer.
Houston, TX - Campingworld.com...
We have found the cover we purchased from Camperworld to work just fine. Its like putting a fitted sheet on the bed - Works well and we can get in and out thru the zipper door with ease.
Just reading an article in Highways regarding surge guard protection at RV parks. Is there a real necessity for this and what is the overall perferred maker.
We pull our 185 with a Toyota 4Runner with no problem other than cutting our gas mileage in half. We are looking to move up to a Tundra or F150 to go further distances and possible higher elevations.
Wow - I love hearing all the good and bad. I keep all the information should I have need for some of the advice given. We have had our 185 almost a year, made several outtings, and "knock on wood" have had all fantastic times. Nothing major ( and we are not "handymans") but very pleased with...
We finally put our ADCO premade 20' on this weekend - and yes its a little long front to back but it great for full coverage. We were concerned it might be an ordeal, but it was like putting a fitted sheet on the bed. We are pleased with the coverage and ease in putting it on.
We use the cushions provided but have an alternative down bed topper which makes for a very comfy sleep. I tried the queen Coleman single blow up but almost trapped myself in the sleeping area! :)
We have been out a couple of times in our 185 and really find it Perfect for us! Would like to see pics of your customizations. This past weekend we went to a great KOA on Galveston Bay in Baytown. Great ammenities and the fishing was fantastic. Would like to hear about the opportunities int...
We use the cabinets over the couch also - but purchased "over the door" rack and put it facing inward to the bathroom - at least you can hang your towels or jackets, dresses etc.
