As I look to compare toy haulers one very important characteristic for us is the carrying capacity of the TH. We have two Harley cruisers that will weigh a combined 2,000 lbs (+/_). Plus the rest of our "stuff". The Heartland website that lists TH specs leaves the carrying capacity blank...
If we put our two Harleys in the back of a 36 foot roadwarrior will this mean we can haul very little, if anything, else in the trailer? What is the maximum amount of total weight we can put in the toyhauler, including the bikes?
I have seen numerous posts that indicate that if you have a fifth wheel you need to be ready to do many repairs yourself. Fair enough. My question is this: Would there ever be a worry that performing your own work would somehow cause your warranty to be invalidated?
Love the cyclone model but do not want the washer/dryer in the bedroom
As an option can you have the washer/dryer located in the garage on any model you choose?
does anyone full-time, booddocking for the majority of the time, and maintain a freezer?
my better half and I intend to do this w/ a Landmark w/ a larger solar setup
we hunt alot and in our stick house always have a freezer w/ a fair amount of wild game
we are wondering if this is feasible
We plan of living in a 40' fifth wheel and since we tend to boondock exclusively we desire to have the ability to run our rig off of solar to the greatest extent practical.
I also would not desire to do the initial install of the solar equipment
Who would you recommend to do the install (would...
First would like to state that we are very impressed with Heartland products and look forward to our purchase. We had been focusing on the Cyclone model, in part based on our review of the Heartland website. This weekend we were in Lubbock, TX walking thru various Cyclone models when we saw a...
Had an odd question pop into my head as my wife and I plan on migrating to full time rving.
When we purchase our fifth wheel (40' cyclone of some type) how long can we expect the rig to last assuming we take proper care of it?
Based on our plans we will probably put 7,000 miles per year on the...
Realizing that selecting a toyhauler has much to do with personal preference I would like to ask the following:
Walked thru both a Cyclone and a Voltage (Dutchmen) this weekend.
As Cyclone owners why did you opt for a Cyclone rather than a Voltage?
My wife and I will be doing alot of dry...
Anyone out there that tows a Landmark and a second trailer?
We have two harley's that we would want to tow behind a Landmark.
Desire to do this rather than purchase a toy hauler and give up the living space.
My better half and I are going to purchase a Landmark w/ the yeti package and dual pain windows.
Our question is this: Until we retire we will spend the winter months in an area (eastern New Mexico)where the nighttime temperatures can get into the low teens on occassion. Will our rig be able...
My better half and I own a 2011 Dodge Dually w/ turbo cummins diesel.
We intend to purchase a Cyclone 40 footer of some variety
Do we have a need to purchase a bigger truck?
I have seen the posts about the truck calculator
Am seeking real world input
Thanks in advance
