I'd be very worried about the quality of the work performed on the bearings and brakes if they can't do something so simple as installing lug nuts. It's not rocket science.
We've been looking at new 5th wheel toy haulers and regular 5th wheels. The Bighorn 3010RE we looked at today has 6 A/C vents in the kitchen and living room area and four vents in the bedroom. We next looked at a Cyclone 3010 toy hauler and found one A/C vent in the kitchen area, none in the...
Heartland lost a Cyclone sale yesterday. We were looking at the new 3010 and were ready to buy but my wife did not like the seat in-between the closets in the bedroom. That was a deal killer for her. Bring back a regular closet and you've got a deal.
I joined this forum because wife and I were looking at Big Horns. We recently realized a TH would better suit us as we could take our Goldwing with us. We researched the Cyclone's and found the 3010 and really like it. The 3010 has a great floor plan and the 10' garage is the perfect size...
I keep my water tank less than 1/3 full for potty stops and such while on the road. I've never had any issues hooking up to city water except when the temps got down below freezing and the hose froze. I just make sure to use a pressure regulator and a good water filter. One other thing I do is...
Threads like this one don't bode well for people, like me, who are looking to buy a Heartland product. It sounds like there is absolutely zero quality control at the factory and the line workers are not at all supervised to turn out a quality product. If Heartland would spend as much time...
I would be interested to hear just 5 of the 25+ complaints the OP has with the Cyclone. It is very common for someone to join a forum just to wrongly bash a product in the hopes of turning away future business. I'm not accusing the OP of anything but 25+ complaints and blaming Heartland QC and...
I didn't read all 15 pages so here goes....AZ requires no license/permit to CCW - anyone can CCW. Regarding the OP's original question - I carry a Glock .45 and an AR-15. Oh, and a retired Sergeant badge from my 30 years as an LEO meaning no CCW permit required anywhere in the US.
I've found on many forums that folks mistake Buddy Bearings for EZ-Lube. I've got Buddy's on my boat trailer and only give it a shot or two of grease in order to increase the internal pressure to keep out water. The EZ-Lube on my fiver I have to give enough pumps to get the grease flowing back...
I had the same problem with a Toshiba flat screen that was only 2 years old. An internet check said there are quality issues with the Toshiba power supply and are expensive to fix. I trashed the Toshiba and bought a Sony.
Do you have a washer hookup in you bedroom closet area? We had the same stink in our bathroom hot water faucet but I fixed it. Seems that the water lines to the washer tie into the bathroom faucet and don't get flushed properly. I hooked up a hose to washer faucets and flushed the lines into the...
I'm looking at three Rescue Shepherds. Got turned away from puppies @ $1,500 - 2000 - are they kidding!? Did have a negative experience with a rescue dog, a terrier mix. Wanted to attack anyone coming through our front door including our granddaughters. Psycho dog - had to give her back :(...
I'm looking to get a German Shepherd as a pet and was wondering how accepted they are in RV parks. I wouldn't have a dog that is aggressive or that barks at the moon; just a mild mannered companion. The only dogs I ever see at the parks are the little ankle biters and am wondering if I will run...
Heartland says on the BH forum, "Heartland’s laminated construction has been subjected to rigid testing in the famous DOMETIC Extreme temperature testing chamber, where it passed with flying colors! The testing chamber temperature is set to 0º to test the heating system, followed by setting it...
While I don't have the 3010re, my 3/4 ton Duramax pulls my trailer just fine and it is the same size and weight as the 3010re. One thing I did add was Firestone airbags to lift the back end up. I'm considering the 3010re myself.
We were in W. Yellowstone, 3 weeks ago, and it got down to 27*. The frozen city water line caught us by surprise - it's summer for goodness sake :) But the propane heater kept everything inside the trailer and basement toasty warm and the internal water was fine. Thaw came as soon as the sun...
