Niles, I was traveling home today, I have a 2009 Bighorn, from Myrtle Beach SC and broke an axle. Lost one of my rims and tire but are the same as your are offering. If you still have these, I sure would be interested. I'm not coming to the rally but I have a friend, Nathan and Byrd Mathis, that...
We have a 2008 and it did the same as yours rig. The dealer instructed us to increase the size of the relay switch. Don't quote me but I believe what is installed is a 40 and he increased to an 80. Worked fine ever since.
I have finished. As I mentioned in previous post, it's not as "cleaned-up" as I had wanted but it is much better than when I started. In order to clean up completly, one would have to pull a lot of home runs in wiring (I did pull in plumbing piping). May be hard to tell from these photo's but...
Robin (mainly) and I will bring Fried Chicken and "real home canned" green beans. Robin's hands are still green from all she broke and canned this year. We will also bring what seemed to be a favorite from last years Waynesville campout, "Breakfast Burritos" for the Saturday breakfast. They...
If you use wax on your camper, Dawn and other similar products will strip this wax off (or so I'm told). I have used powder Gain soap on this camper and the one I owned before. Works very well but does require some "elbow grease" on tough spots.
I basically did it to clean up the endless/uncoordinated pipe and wiring runs. I admit that it is not as "cleaned-up " as I had first invisioned but it is definately more organized. I guess you can call me a neat freak.
I also did the wiring portion to remove the convertor from directly under...
I mounted the manifold opposite of your location or directly behind the water heater area (see attached photo). I mounted in this location as I have the 50 amp surge protector (that I relocated from plug location under fender) directly opposite the manifold (pictures to come as I finish this...
We have a 2009 Bighorn 3670RL. We currently have the white plastic center and bottom section. My wife really is partial to the new clear door without the "lever" to open and close the door on the new Bighorns/Big Country. Does anyone know if you can swap the new door for the old?
Re: 2013 Goshen Rally - General Discussion Thread
Can someone tell me how they do the trailer weighing? I am considering (or want to have this done) but before I register for date and time, I would like to understand how they are doing it. Anyone had this done and have suggestions?
Re: 2013 Goshen Rally - General Discussion Thread
Thanks for the update on site locations. I see several have asked to be together and I understand that NABO is trying to get Kentucky/Tenn chapter together so someone has a real job ahead of them.
What site numbers do not have sewer hook-ups...
Re: 2013 Goshen Rally - General Discussion Thread
I have noticed that some people are mentioning their site number. I registered last night as soon as e-mail came out and have gotten my confirmation however I do not see anywhere that it mentions a site number. Can someone direct me to the right...
Welcome to the Heartland Family and especially to the Big Horn Family. We love ours and we have fulltimed as well as weekend camped in it. We have spent nights in -4 degrees in Cherokee, NC to 116+ degrees in Arlington, Tx. I think you will be well pleased. Hope to see you at some rallies in the...
In lieu of wood, which cracks/breaks and is combersome to store, you may want to purchase leveling pads sold at Camping World or other retailers (even Wal-Mart) for under the tires. They work well even in rock drives.
Well I couldn't help myself. After seeing your (Southern Nights) manifold at the Waynesville campground Rally this year, I started my complete re-work and have currently finished, all of my electrical wiring rerouting. I have moved my invertor from its original location, directly under the water...
