Analog t-stat conversion to digital t-stat

I am converting my analog t-stat to digital and purchased the single zone conversion kit as directed by Dometic. I purchased it from AdventureRV.net but it came with no wiring instructions. I have figured out most of the wiring but the four wire connector:red, orange, black & red/white. black is -12v from supply and to t-stat; red is +12v from supply; r/w is +12v to t-stat and orange has no tag. the big issue is tying in these last wires and the t-stat. Where does the wire with no tag connect? Also, the new stat has terminals: 12v-, 12v+ and comms. The first two are easy but what is the last one and where does the other end connect? I have gotten no help from Dometic and the place where I purchased the unit does not list a phone number.

Does anyone have a reccomendation on which T-stat to use if you want it to switch between heat and cool automatically?
