Yep, and I, as well as others on the forum, communicate with both dealers and HL. When you don't get answers from either, what do you do? Keep calling every day? Call twice a day? You tell me. Maybe I'll get lucky and La Mesa in Port St Lucie will get it done correctly since Camping World...

I described the problems I was having and asked if I could take the coach to an independent shop 15 min from my house. HL asked where the nearest HL dealer was. I told them 30 min. They said take it there. So I did. Twice. Neither time were the issues corrected. Both times I retrieved the...

I don't know how many different ways I can say it. I am happy you got good service. I, on the other hand, did NOT get good service. You failed to state what issues you were having. I, on the other hand, spelled out the laundry list of problems I've had in another thread. In closing, glad...

    K. Then to be crystal clear, I asked HL cust svc reps several times if I could take my coach to an independent repair facility I had used on my previous coach. I was told "NO". Before the "NO", the HL cust svc rep gave me a few other options, such as pay out-of-pocket for a mobile repair tech...

Gray and Black Tank Valves for a 2014 3950

Your complaint is repeating what many others have said in the past. Apparently HL either doesn't know, doesn't care, expects dealers to handle it, or just doesn't want to spend a few more pennies labeling so customers have one less thing to complain about. If a lack of labels on your tank...

    New to Cyclone

Are you POSITIVE the WATER HEATER switch is below the panel??? On my unit, which is several years newer and maybe switches have changed, the red wall type switch is for the fresh, black and grey tank heaters, NOT the water heater. The fresh, gray and black tank heaters are only to be used in...

May have found my next toy hauler

Yep. The room can be ordered with bunks for kids as well as with or without the motorcycle lift. I also found the options list on the company web page. Vinyl plank flooring is an option throughout the LR. That takes care of one of my concerns!! YAY!! This keeps getting better and better!!

May have found my next toy hauler

I thought that was a Rampage lift. Good to know. Looks like my Gold Wing would fit, too. The mirrors on the fairing are the widest part. At least they hinge and "give" a little if needed, but I think the opening is just big enough. I'd have to test fit the bike before buying. I like the...

May have found my next toy hauler

I guess that is also how they are able to use only 2 axles instead of 3 like Lippert. The Alfa is NOT a lightweight trailer. I already told my wife I want to walk thru one of these. Only thing I'd lose that I really like is the ramp patio. But the HUGE increase in usable living space would...

May have found my next toy hauler

Just read the newest edition of "Trailer Life". Both Lifestyle and DRV have GREAT TH options. The Lifestyle Alfa Side Hauler is a FANTASTIC concept!! A "real" 5th wheel with a place for a touring motorcycle. A lot more living space and the ability to take a big bike!! Wouldn't be able to...

ATF: Cyclone - Electrical, plumbing, TV, wirings, Drawings Specific to my trailer

They'd have to come up with specific drawings for every coach that comes off the line. Sure, they follow the same general building processes for each coach, but they don't have their procedures in such a way that every coach in the same model is the same. If they were, there would be far fewer...

    Stacking ATVs

Height shouldn't be an issue. I have at least 6' of height to play with. How to get the front end up is a good point. I figured I could pop a wheelie!!
  14. R

    Stacking ATVs

I doubt the width is available. Bike is a GoldWing. With bike centered in the garage I can get 2 mountain bikes on each side, but that is all. Length of the GoldWing would prevent quads from fitting perpendicular/sideways.

    Stacking ATVs

Doesn't sound crazy, but it is more complicated than it is worth to me. At the dealership they showed me how they stand ATVs on their rear to do maintenance. Considering how the coach rides, that is another option. But I think the front tires of the 2d ATV resting on the rear of the 1st ATV...

    Stacking ATVs

I need a way to put 150 inches of ATVs (2 ATVs each 75" long) into a garage that is 132" long (CY4000 with 3-season doors). Can't put them side by side if I want my motorcycle in the garage, too. Can't put one sideways and the other lengthwise either. These are the smallest adult quads I can...

I have no idea either. All I know is whenever I asked to use the independent shop close to me, I was given a bunch of himming and hawing from HL. I have nothing but disappointment with HL cust svc and the 2 dealers who have failed to fix the problems. I hope the 3rd dealer gets everything...

Newbie to forum looking for owner input.

Interesting you say that. HL has NEVER allowed me to use an independent shop. When I ask, they require I jump thru so many hoops I simply succumb to dragging my unit to a factory dealer where it sat for 4ish months at a time. Maybe it depends on what the issue is, but I've had plenty of...

IMO it is a LOT less about the build quality and MUCH MORE about dealer support. If you buy a new unit, HL (and most other brands) gives a 1-yr warranty. If you expect a dealer to fix the issues, you better find a VERY GOOD service dept. My coach is at the 3rd dealer (La Mesa in Port St...

    Broken garage door spring.

I assume you want to know if they are "owner" replaceable. You'll probably have better luck going to an independent RV repair shop. Those springs are under tension and could be a real bear to replace.

At least 1 forum member posted a pic of his CY in FBP. It looked "busier" than the Voltage in the OPs attachment. I don't care for it.

    Cyclone 4000 Question

Yes, I have slide issues. They are different than your issues. My coach has spent it's first week at the 3rd dealer for warranty repair. Hopefully the 3rd dealer is the charm.

2014 Cyclone 4000 End of the season... and well not very impressed.

I stopped complaining about my 2014 CY4000 after a mod PM'd me about my bashing HL. Alas, I still hate the coach. Good luck finding a factory service center that actually gives a darn about the issues. I hope my 3rd time is a charm, cause the first 2 didn't care. They will never see another...

ATF: Cyclone - QA and Workmanship

I feel the same way about the CY4000 I'm stuck with. Next week I'll be taking it to a 3rd dealer for warranty repairs. The first 2 (CW in Cocoa, Fl and Lazy Days in Tampa) will never see my business again.

2014 CY 4000 - Anyone else's bathroom fan fuzz up the cable tv?

No, the tv is in the living room. It is the factory installed big screen tv. So to fix the fuzzy should shield the wires somehow?

2014 CY 4000 - Anyone else's bathroom fan fuzz up the cable tv?

When the cable tv coax is plugged into the coach and the bathroom roof vent fan is on, the tv picture gets fuzzy. This does NOT happen if the tv is on antenna or if the cable is plugged directly into the tv instead of being run thru the coach's coax connection. Does anyone else have a coach...

Four Season Use - AC with Heat Pump

Will it be used year round in NY or somewhere with a milder winter? FYI, the garage floor is poorly insulated and opening the deck(s) will negate any insulation in those rooms. The electric fireplace puts out decent heat. If the thermostat actually worked it would be a plus.

Thanks much. Now that I know there is hope, I'll look at dimensions of various UTVs and take it from there.

RZR and GoldWing in garage. Will both fit???

Actually, it's not the least of my concerns, it is the ONLY concern at this point. If they don't fit, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!!

RZR and GoldWing in garage. Will both fit???

Looking at getting a 2-person side-by-side UTV. Anyone know if a UTV and fullsize motorcycle can fit into an 11' garage? My 2014 CY4000 garage with 3-season wall measures just over 11' long.

ATF: Cyclone - No Auto leveling - big mistake?

It costs around $3K. I have it on this coach, didn't have it on the last one. It is nice, but not necessary. The vast majority of sites I have stayed on have been close enough to level. The few times I had to use 2x12s under the tires on one side of my last coach can be counted on one hand...

2015 4100 King on Order - couple of questions.

If you have the Arctic Pkg, red switch is the fresh, grey and black tank heaters. They are 110 volts. If you have 3 ACs, the white switch is likely a 3-position switch to select what ACs you have running simultaneously. As for the garage switches, it depends on the options. You may have one...

    Can-Am RT in the 4200?

Probably not a lot of weight bearing down on the rear wheel, relatively speaking. If I ever decide to get rid of my 1988 GoldWing, I will strongly consider a Spyder along with a GL1800.

4100 Cyclone Left side door question

I completely disagree it is a design "flaw". Having the door open wide makes it vastly easier to access the basement and connections. All you have to do is follow your checklist and you won't close the slide with the door open. BTW, I clipped it twice, but the fault is mine, not HL's.

Bought 4200- Questions about the Bed...

LOL!!! Heartland also claims the furniture is "residential", too!!! Maybe if you buy furniture at Junk R Us. Agree with spending ~ $100 on a mattress topper before paying several hundred on a new mattress.
