SERIOUS Blowout!!! (requesting alternate tire recommendations)

Ok, so I found a great deal locally this morning at an actual Goodyear Auto Service Center and I ran down there with all 6 of my trailer tires and had them throw the G614's on. I got all 6 tires, with tax, mounted and balanced, total price $2174. The best deal I could online, delivered without...

SERIOUS Blowout!!! (requesting alternate tire recommendations)

I just found the G614's at simpletire.com for $309.99 each plus $20.51 shipping each, the lowest by far I've found so far.

SERIOUS Blowout!!! (requesting alternate tire recommendations)

Does anyone have any feedback or knowledge about the Goodyear Marathon Trailer Tires? They come in 235/80R16 "E" Load Rating.

SERIOUS Blowout!!! (requesting alternate tire recommendations)

Thanks to all so far for the input. I will check the rim pressure limit. I don't know if Heartland change rims but mine are the factory rims, 2014 model, so I would imagine they didn't but two identical looking rims, aech with different rating. Anyhow, I am defintely upgrading, I just need to...

SERIOUS Blowout!!! (requesting alternate tire recommendations)

So we just got back from a 12 day adventure at June Lake near Mammoth. On our way there a week and a half ago I was about 18 miles east of Tonopah, NV on Highway 6 and heard a loud "pop". I new immediately what it had to be and when I checked both rear view mirrors I saw some pieces of the RV...

    Two dump points into one?

Good points, I will look at the distance and the drop I would need, and if it would clear the axle still. DocFather, I do that now, I was just trying to simplify hooking up and dumping. With one dump point I wouldn't have a whole mess of sewer dumping tubes snaked all over the place.

    Two dump points into one?

I've got to imagine this has been addressed before but I couldn't find a thread. I have a 2014 Cyclone 4100, which has two blank tanks and two seperate dump points. Can anyone give me a good reason why I couldn't just go to Home Depot or Lowes and get some pipe and a "Y" or "T" adapter fitting...

    New cyclone 4100 King

So I pulled the trigger today and ordered the Air Lift air bags for my rear leaf springs because I am not happy with the squatting that is going on. I am pulling some serious weight and the rear end is low. I want to see how this mod will effect the performance of the towing. When the front...

    New cyclone 4100 King

We almost booked there but thought it looked cramped. I have been to the Golden Eagle before when my parents stayed there in their RV back in 1999 for our wedding. I remember it not being a bad place, a bit quieter and less booked and less cramped spots.

    New cyclone 4100 King

We will be staying at the Golden Eagle on the 115 just on the southern edge of the Springs, abeam Fort Carson. We wanted to go to the new Cheyenne Mountain State Park one right outside the Fort Carson main gate but it is booked up ridiculously.

Thanks guys. I am thinking it just purged its way out of the vent port on the black tank that you were talking about. Everything has been operating normally and seems to be ok. One of these days when I settle after we move I am going to try and drop the back half of that huge under panel...

    New cyclone 4100 King

I'm just worried about how and/or where it found a way to relieve the pressure, if it opened up a seal or joint somewhere that wasn't meant to opened. I will run all the water lines today and see if it does it again, if it doesn't leak I am hoping that it didn't happen and that i am in the...

Does anyone know if the black holding tanks on a 2014 Cyclone 4100 have a type of "over-flow" port/valve/hole in case it fills up before u dump it? I'm a little worried. I have been dumping my tanks just fine with no issues but today my 4 kids filled up the black holding tank for the garage...

    Grey tank capacities

I was wondering this myself and found this thread on a search. I have a 2014 Cyclone 4100, and the specs online/brochure just say 82 gal grey and 82 gal black. I have two grey dump valves and two black. So am I to assume that I have two 41 gal grey tanks and two 41 gal black tanks?

Thanks whp4262, I got it, and thanks to everyone else's links/input, I'm beginning to understand it. This should definitely give him the info and the why to wire a home hook up for me.

BTW, the "clunk" happens about 20 seconds after gen start up, no matter the setting, the power doesn't actually start being supplied until 136 seconds AFTER that. It did that on both circuit boards.

Ok, I need some help here because I am in mass confusion. The label on the power hook up (picture below), translates in my electrically stupid mind, that this can handle both 120 and 240 power input. My brother-in-law is helping me get power ready at my parents house so that when we pull it up...

Yeah, that is where I wanted to install my remote display, in the main switch panel, but the depth of my panel isn't very deep. The remote won't clear it enough to close the door. I'll figure it out, I found a temp place for now. Thanks though. I tried to loop it like the factory did, but...

Ok, well mine is actually just to the left side of the UDC, on the other side of the wall, technically in pass through storage. It is on the wall in the pass through storage, on the back side of the UDC wall. I didn't want to put it in there because that's where all the water routes through...

So I got it installed today. I wish that task on no man, lol, but with that said I wouldn't pay $300 for install either. I think the hardest part was connecting the EMS output side with the sensors, there just isn't enough room in there for all that going on and then to bend all those short...

    Progressive EMS

Alright gents, I got the EMS in today. Seems pretty easy, I installed the jumper cable into the input tonight here at the house and I'll take the unit out to the RV tomorrow and finish it up. Those 6 gauge wires are a bear to manipulate. I have but one question, the bypass switch on the...

    I-70 and the Eisenhower tunnel

You know I-70 between Denver and the I-15 Junction has always been my favorite Interstate to travel, When I was stationed in Colorado Springs I would drive it to go home on leave to southern California. After reading how low the clearance is through the tunnel, I don't have a warm and fuzzy...

    Progressive EMS

Thanks guys. Either way, if I am understanding this, the way it is working, putting it on the 136 second delay instead of the 15 seconds, can only help the situation, and wouldn't hurt the AC regardless of it's built in timers. You know, oddly enough, the Army teaches it's pilots to know their...

So of the fifty thousand manuals that came with my RV for the various manufactures of the components, the one I didn't get was for the two air conditioners. I am currently getting an answer from my dealer, but in the mean time, I needed some info from the manual that you all might be able to...

Yeah, I got one of those RhinoFlex kits with the clear elbow and fittings and all. I guess I will figure it out by trial and error. I won't have a way to hook it up to water until our first time sleeping in it. Thanks guys.

That's exactly what I was planning on doing. I just might need to construct a nice little mounting station out of wood for the actual EMS. For clarification, what is the "jumper wire"? Once I open the Transfer Switch I am sure I will see what you're referencing about the sensor with the green...
