    Our 3010 Modifications

Looks great! I did nearly the same on mine more than a year ago. I have used it quite a number of times with no issues. https://heartlandowners.org/showthread.php/75500-8-pt-Manual-Hybrid-Leveling-System-on-My-2014-Cyclone-3110

$20 modification to Eureka Yellow Jacket Central Vacuum

Just in case you have not come across this post in the “General / Appliances / Vacuum”, I posted a solution/modification/repair, with pictures, involving the Eureka Yellow Jacket Central Vacuum. https://heartlandowners.org/showthread.php/77074-Eureka-Yellow-Jacket-Issue-Solved-for-less-than-20...

Eureka Yellow Jacket Issue Solved for less than $20

After finding out that this vacuum is no longer available and there are no replacement parts either, I decided to see if there was a simpler solution to the issue of not stopping or not running. The motor appears to be pretty stout but it does produce a far amount of heat. The triggering relay...

    Yellow Jacket Vacuum Change Out-Ideas

That’s what I had in mind if I can’t get this relay replaced. I have searched the internet and there is nothing you can purchase to fix this with OEM parts. It is a shame because the wife loves this vacuum. I have figured out how to eliminate this circuit board for a direct power from a wall...

    Yellow Jacket Vacuum Change Out-Ideas

My vacuum would not turn off today. After reading the posts I pulled the vacuum assembly and determined that the relay is sticking after it is triggered. After I wack the relay, the vacuum will stop. However, when I start it again with the low voltage wires, it stays on until I wack it. I have...

    Onan 5500 Problems

i use 5 gallon containers to transport the non ethanol fuel to put in the fuel cell. Here in the southeast we have many of the Murphy USA’s with non ethanol regular grade gasoline. Good luck!

    Onan 5500 Problems

I have a 2014 3110 that is 6 years old this Thursday, August 1st. Since taking delivery, I have only put non ethanol regular or premium gasoline in the fuel cell. Every July, I empty the contents of the fuel cell and refill with fresh non ethanol regular gasoline. I have never had a problem with...

    4113 cyclone pin weight?

I have a 2015 F350 DRW with high capacity towing. The pin box/hitch weight, or slide in truck camper weight limit for my truck is 5100 lbs, and/or a 25,000 trailer towing capacity. I don’t see how a 3/4 ton SRW would have a 9000 lb capacity! I did add Firestone air bags to my truck to...

    Help it’s so hot!

If you want to keep your investment under $500 to add an AC, consider using a portable AC. I have a 2014 Cyclone 3110. It has two roof ACs and it struggled to keep the inside cool with temps of 92 degrees and higher. Also, the garage was always hot! Five years ago I purchased a 12,000 btu...

    Fuel pump

No problem, these toy haulers have a step learning curve!

    Fuel pump

I understand. I assumed that Myster46 knew about the on/off switch at the pump after he triggers the timer relay inside the coach.
  18. jeffdee

    Fuel pump

If it turns out that the impellers are swollen not allowing the pump to operate, it will most likely be due to using ethanol gasoline. I have only put non-ethanol gas in my Cyclone’s fuel tank since new. Never had a problem with the pump nor the generator. It has been 6 years. I always empty...

8 pt Manual Hybrid Leveling System on My 2014 Cyclone 3110

I have seen that many of the 3010, 3100 and 3110 have the rear jacks installed to the rear of the fuel cell. I was able to put mine just to the rear of the tires and I put mud flaps to help keep the jacks clean. It does not conflict with the slide mechanisms. I already have enough trouble with...

8 pt Manual Hybrid Leveling System on My 2014 Cyclone 3110

Yes, I dealt with Jeff Lehman in sales. He let me install all the hardware then measure the lengths needed for the hoses then shipped the hoses. They (Bigfoot) are very easy to deal with compared to Lippert.

8 pt Manual Hybrid Leveling System on My 2014 Cyclone 3110

I have just completed a major, but satisfying upgrade to my Lippert front hydraulic landing gear and electric rear stabilizers. I purchased two Bigfoot Quadra Manufacturing hydraulic cylinder kits and special mounting brackets. I did not weld anything. I used 8 angle irons brackets and 32 half...

Torque 371 5th wheel toy hauler king Jack antenna booster switch location?

In the bedroom on the wall behind the tv is a plate with a power port. There is a small black button next to it. When you push it a red led comes on signifying the booster is on. I had to put a short coaxial cable outside from the antenna output to the cable input to provide a signal to my...

    Lug nuts/torque

If you use impact an socket and impact extension then you are near 100% accurate torque. It is the chrome sockets and extension that will affect accurate torque.

    Lippert 281281 shock kits

I installed shock kits on my 2014 Cyclone 3110. It wasn’t too bad. More tedious than difficult. I flipped the upper brackets in order to place the shocks more vertical. I had to bend the bottom plate in order to accommodate the different angle. I replaced the rubber bushings with 9.8105G end...

    Cyclone 3611 questions

I bought a 2014 Cyclone 3110 new. Max weight 16,000#, empty weight 12,820#, this left 3180# for golf cart, cargo and fresh water. The pin box has a 2600# weight. This fit the specs of my 3/4 ton tow vehicle I had at that time, and what I was looking for. The salesman did not do this math for...

Size of Bedroom window in Cyclone 4270

This is just a suggestion. The wife and I wanted to darken the bedroom windows in our 3110. We bought some auto windshield shade material and cut it to fit the windows in the Cyclone. It is held in place with velcro tape. This black out helps keep the bedroom cooler in summer. It is placed...

Installed new pin box on my 3110

The original post is located here: https://heartlandowners.org/showthread.php/74026-I-really-like-this-new-pin-box!
  35. jeffdee

I really like this new pin box!

I just had this Trail Air pin box installed. The tow home was so much smoother than the last five years of towing with the original pin box. I just ordered air bag kit for the rear axle of my truck. A smoother ride will make long range traveling so much better.

    True hitch weight 3600 & 4007

I have towed with a 1 ton DRW for nearly 4 years now. Previously I have towed with a 3/4 ton SRW. I changed to the DRW after towing a 16k#, 2 axle toy hauler for 18 months. The SRW was rated for a 15.9k# RV. I was right there at capacity for hitch weight and towing capacity. When towing on a...
