    32 Buds Issues

They have fixed the bedroom door issue. We picked up our 32BUDS on the 19th. so far only one oddity with the hot water heater. I'll post more pics when we get home. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Forum Fiend v1.0.

    Stolen Power Cords Anyone?

When I first saw the subject on this thread, I thought you were selling or giving away such cords. :D I thought they would remove the TVs and store them in a better / more secure facility at the dealer. I never thought to ask if they had been stolen.

Filling Fresh Water Tank at Dump Station

dbbls59 is right, there are some dump stations that have both, however, they are clearly marked with warning signs and are separated by some distance.

    Wide right turns while towing

yes, it's legal (at least in TN), as I rode with my Dad hauling gas for many years in a Semi. The reason it's legal is because it's necessary, and I see trucks do it all the time. :D Just make sure you ALWAYS use the turn signal. If the other drivers can show you didn't, and one of them...

I've emailed them twice with comments/questions and both times they called me back within a few hours. If you need a fast response it would be better to call them, but if you can wait, using the "contact us" page does work quite well.

    32 Buds Issues

could you post a pick of that clip? I'll work that over before we start our first trip and make sure we don't see that issue. :D

    32 Buds Issues

Great, picking up our 32BUDS in 2 weeks. All these issues have me worried I might need to rethink this. I was under the impression most of these issues have been fixed by now. Heartland, what's up? Keep us up to date. The bedroom doors are a known issue, but the faucet, lights, missing...

    Why Tires fail

lgubbels, I'm with you. My dad used to just run regular light truck tires on the trailers we ran (didn't have campers) hauling backhoes, tractors, etc. We had less trouble with those than what I hear about on here. Of course my last camper's tires held up very well, just had to keep 'em aired...

    Wife complaining about water pressure!

The water pressure issue aside, a good shower head can help in the shower. Most of the camp grounds we have been in with our previous camper had lower pressure, mainly (I think) due to the inline water filter. So we used one of these...

    Mods to my 22FBS

Looks good, the brown switch doesn't stand out, and keeps it from looking crowded there.

    Kentucky Lake Campground

I know I'm lagging behind here, but either campground is a nice place to stay. I have stayed at Piney Campground nearer to Paris Landing many times, but haven't made it to Hillman Ferry. I have been chaplain a few times, and worked on the chaplain's camper up there a time or two. Don't forget...

Love the 32RLTS but not sure about towing

I checked with Heartland, because the statement that the tongue weight would be about 900 lbs scared me. The tongue weight as rated is with battery and full LP tanks, so the 32RLTS is only about 630lbs tongue weight, I don't see how you're going to get that to 900. If you balance your loading...

    NT FX21 vs NT FX23?

I'm with Geico, but I don't pay any more than that, however, my last RV was about half as much. :) I think I'm paying somewhere around 220ish, so not far off, and I have my house, both cars, and motorcycle with them, which helps. Meant to add that the insurance increase just surprised me...

    How Necessary is a Weapon?

I grew up on a farm in what I thought was in the middle of nowhere, but wasn't really. Our drive way was about 1/2 mile long. I always carried some type of rifle/shotgun while walking alone around the farm, not because of people, but animals. Snakes, Rabid dogs, etc. Sometimes when your back...

    NT FX21 vs NT FX23?

Part of the "big as you can afford" is not just the size of the RV but the size you can afford to store, pull, insure, and rent for campsites. The bigger the camper, the larger the insurance bill, the larger the campsite bill (full hookups with 30 amp vs 50 amp, etc. verses a site with just...

ATF: North Trail - Dimensions of bunks

True, but the bunk in teh slide out is much shorter. My daughter who is around 5'4" could not stretch out in the one we visited locally. I was trying to find out how long it is. The bunk over the outside "party center" as they call it, is standard length at least.

Well, that wasn't very bright. Overlooked the most important part. 2014 32BUDS, We're supposed to pick it up the 19th of Sept.

ATF: North Trail - Dimensions of bunks

I asked this in another forum, but now I have a VIN! So, what are the dimensions of the bunks in the back? It appears the one in the slide out is very short, and my son and daughter may be already too tall for that one.

    Dimensions of bunks

I've been looking for the bunk dimensions on the Heartland site, and dealer site, but neither location gives me anything to go on. Does anyone here know the bunk dimensions for the 32BUDS model? I need to figure out where my son (who even though he's only 12 at the moment, is just as tall as...

    lift onto Toilette

Mizmary, That would be a start, thanks for the link. Not sure how it would work with the foot pedal flush. I think my problem is I don't think enough like someone in a chair to know exactly what to look for. You just can't grasp the aggravation, I don't think, until you have to deal with...

    lift onto Toilette

My Dad is a double amputee, and I would love to take him camping at least once before too long. With the 32BUDS we have the sleeping part worked out great we believe. The parts we would need to work on are the restroom, and getting him into the camper. I've looked around a little through...

    buying 2014 NT 32BUDS

Something I meant to mention, was that the reason I knew the doors would be a problem was because the model we looked at, here at a local dealer, had one of the doors with a broken hanger. The reason we didn't buy there is they wanted a full 5K more for less features than the online dealer we...

    buying 2014 NT 32BUDS

Yep, We looked over all the pics for the unit, and noticed the lack of steps on that bunk. We have a small step we can use for that, and both of my kids are Teenagers which will make it easier. Our last RV didn't have towel racks either, so I expected that, however, never really thought about...

ATF: North Trail - HD antenna

I can't help but confirm the last two with this, because it's funny. My Mom spent $97 on a "HD antenna" that took me over an hour to put together (instructions were horrible), and could never get but 1 channel. She returned it. I bought a Dell laptop with a built in TV tuner and it came with...

    buying 2014 NT 32BUDS

Thanks Jim, I've been reading some of the messages, especially as they relate to the North Trail. I already know about the master bedroom doors and the plastic hangers. I'll have to rig somethig up there to keep them from breaking right off the bat (I have two teenagers). :) Other than that I...

    buying 2014 NT 32BUDS

We have ordered a 2014 NT 32BUDS Caliber edition, and are expecting it sometime before the end of the month. :D Just wondering what hints or tips of things to look for, work around, etc. All RVs have 'em. The last RV I owned had an issue with delamination if you didn't take extra steps to...
