    External to Internal Wiring

Just as an update to this thread, I emailed Wilson Amplifiers (WeBoost) and got this reply: "Thank you for your inquiry. I was able to verify that the cables that are included in the weBoost Destination RV Signal Booster Kit are Low Loss RG6 (75ohm) Cable wih F- Male terminating ends. This is...

    Alternative cellular providers...

So, like many others, I am researching options for cellular provider plans, and stumbled on several sites that are peddling modem/routers along with 'no contract' unthrottled data plans. They all advertise they are not 'location locked' meaning you can travel anywhere with the plans. Some...

Having "Issues" getting internet service to work in 2020 Bighorn 32 GK.

WDK450 (Bill) posted a response to another thread that I was involved in on making connections from outside to inside a coach utilizing the CATV factory wiring, just as you said you tried. Unless I misunderstood his post, the resistance of the coax cables used for TV compared to that used to...

    External to Internal Wiring

I was wondering about the resistance ratings on the coax cables. Makes me wonder how/what those that claim they used the existing factory cables actually did?? Anyway, good info. Thx.

    External to Internal Wiring

I realize this is an older thread, but I am looking into a WeBoost model and I've seen some people have been able to utilize their cable tv connection port to connect the external antenna to the inside. If your cables are coxial with the standard connections, you should be able to do the same...

Let's visit this again...Lippert 6 point leveling issue

Agree 100% Jim! Worked in industrial maintenance all my adult life and we did many large conductor wiring jobs. Having a power crimp machine for the larger conductors is a must. Heartland should know better.

2014 3875FB Leveling system suddenly not working

Rineer, I just finished the upgrade to an 80A circuit for the hydraulics on my BH. It has the Lippert 3.0. You have to upgrade all the cables including the ground cable as well as the 80A breaker. I chose a manual reset style...

Let's visit this again...Lippert 6 point leveling issue

Well I got all the parts in and yesterday I made the wiring upgrade. In the process I discovered what was probably the cause for the higher than normal current draw. A poorly crimped cable. I had omitted pulling on cables when I went through and checked the tightness of the terminals. I...

...we have a 2015 3875FB and would like to know how many others out there have same model. There are a few things that I have had to "correct" on my unit that the factory 'didn't do right'. Just curious if other have had same issue, or was mine a 'Friday' model. Thx. Today I corrected a...

Yes Jerrod, I've already got the 80A auto reset breaker in my basket on Amazon. I have yet to find the cables in the right length. I know others have made this mod. I was trying to verify the full load rating for the pump motor before going to this option. Does anyone know this number? Thx.

Let's visit this again...Lippert 6 point leveling issue

So I've read lots of posts on various issues and some get close, but I haven't solve it yet. This really is a tow part issue all related to the Lippert hydraulics, but may not be anything wrong with the hydraulics package itself. The coach is a 2015 Bighorn 3875FB. The issue only exists when...

Lippert system breaker tripping , poor Heartland support

Thanks Dan. I already have two new 50A breakers I just purchased off Amazon. I had meter before the suspect 50A breaker and one after, along with an ammeter on the line. It showed the lead breaker in the supply from the battery held, but the one in the cluster did not. I'll replace them...

Lippert system breaker tripping , poor Heartland support

I too fell victim to this issue on my 2015 BH 3875FB. No problems for the first 8 mos. then both the big hydraulic slides and the 6 pt. leveling started to shutdown while retracting. Testing revealed that the 50A auto reset breaker in the cluster with the others was tripping out. I replaced...

    My factory service center experience

So I need to update the situation with our last visit to Heartland. I got a call from Elaine on Wednesday 10/30/19 informing me of a cancellation. If I could get my trailer down to them soon, they could spend a week analyzing and go from there. On Friday 11/01/19 the wife and I took it down...

Thetford toilet wont stop filling when other faucets or washer is running.

I just installed an accumulator on my rig and had one on an earlier rig. I have never seen or heard of them installed in the city water circuit though. They are usually installed immediately after the 12 volt water pump. I'm not saying that you couldn't, but I'm not sure if it would work...

    Help with rear access

Not that it will do you much good this time, but if you are not winterizing for the season, you could do what I did and run a heat tape (I bought mine at Lowes) along the tubing that is exposed. On my 3875 FB Bighorn it was under the large slide for the kitchen. I first covered the 1/4" tubing...

What did you do to your camper today?

So I'm going to start the second round of warranty work. I contacted the service dept. and have received an email back with the attached form. I was notified that I would have to transport the unit to and from the factory since "it was so far out of warranty". Heartland states they have a 3...

Well I've decided to look seriously at replacing the drums with discs. I've done some looking online, but I'd like to hear from those who have gone before me on the subject. I'm not needing convincing so save your breath on that. I am wondering since Kodiak and Titan are now under the Dexter...

    LCI remote control

Well I certainly dropped the ball on this thread. Sorry! After reading your post I dug in and found the LCI remote control board. It was pretty simple to determine the issue was that no lights were physically tied to the output of the light relay. I tied the awning light into it so we would...

What did you do to your camper today?

Yup Carl, the factory install of the plumbing failed to take into account the need to spread the piping apart even to service the valve. I could see the seals were fine, but one had somehow rolled over and prevented the slide to pass between and make a positive seal. As long as I had the whole...

What did you do to your camper today?

Repaired one of the grey water gate valves on our 2015 BH. I cleaned up the messy arrangement of tubing/wiring runs also. I was well...

What did you do to your camper today?

Yes Sowie and it reduces the rate of pump cycles. With the kitchen sink faucet wide open, it now cycles every 5 seconds instead of every 2. That would most lilkey vary with pump output volume though. Quieter too, but that may have to do with my install. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Honestly, it wasn't today, it was last week, but what the hey! I had some parts laying around from previous trailers and after a discussion with my brother about his fresh water system, decided to do something about mine. I added an accumulator. I thought I had a variable volume pump laying...
