Do you ever use Level-up jacks to tilt your rig when dumping.

I also use it to change my tires or check to see if the lug nuts are tight.

Just When I Thought I Had Seen It All

Some people.... It's funny reading this thread. My wife and I are saying, "Well we would do this" and then the next comment suggests it. Most RVers try to keep themselves and others safe, but there's always that 10% that screws it up for the rest. I agree, if I'm doing something unsafe, PLEASE...

    Bighorn 3270 rs

Congratulations! We did the same this past January. We've taken it over 2,000 miles so far this year and plan on 1,000-2,000 more miles before years end. Minor glitches here and there but that's part of the experience.

How do i know if i have a backflow preventer?

I'm sure there is a back flow preventer already installed on your rig. I have an additional one at the spigot because I use a splitter for my fresh and black water supply.

    Very Low Water Pressure . . .

blockage We had a problem on our first rig. The water flowed perfectly until I flipped the water selector switch. The installers didn't clear the plastic residue out of the pipes. When you cut pipe there are shavings left behind. I thought I had a major problem but I took apart all off my...

    wallpaper bubbles

Brazos, that was a funny post. We have a 3270RS and a jayco just before it. Both brand new and both had wall paper issues. I live in the desert and these rigs are made in the Midwest area. I just assumed that the difference in climate caused the paper to bubble. I have smoothed it down...

    Air filters

You could probably save yourself a lot of heartache by going to Lowe's and buying a large square and cutting your little circles..... if you're a DIY type. This is what I was planning on doing in the next week or two to get ready for the summer trip.

    3010RE Toilet paper

We had the same problem with our 3270RS. Unfortunately there is not too much wall space except behind you on this model. I had to mount it on the door that leads to the hallway because the one that leads to the bedroom slides behind the wall. We looked for a freestanding holder but...

ATF: Bighorn - LCI Remote Control Programming

Thanks for the help. I found the receiver behind the panel in the cabinet above the control panel. I also discovered that you should never rearrange the icons of the remote because the order depends on how the receiver is wired. The remote icons are there only to give that function a name. If...

ATF: Bighorn - LCI Remote Control Programming

Thank you danemayer, I've looked about everywhere I could pull a drawer (on steps) and through all vents. I even unscrewed my control panel hoping I could see something back there. Is this access panel something that slides out or will there be screw(s) that need to be removed? Do you think it...

ATF: Bighorn - LCI Remote Control Programming

My LCI remote is only able to control the awning and was at one point controlling my hydraulic slides and landing gear. I tried to rearrange the order that the icons were in and now I can only get the awning to go in and out. The remote is kind of useless now and the fact that the unit didn't...

    UV Tire Covers

I keep mine in a covered structure (garage) and I don't put tire covers on my Bighorn 3270RS. I live in a desert town and I think that as long as you keep it out of direct sunlight, you should be fine. I do cover the tires to my utility trailer because it sits right in the sun and the tires...
