Awning Recept switch

There is an outdoor receptacle near (on my BH) the front arm of the awning. If you plug in awning lights, etc , you can turn them on/off from in the coach.

This switch controls the outside receptacle near the awning. This way, if you plug lights into this receptacle, you can turn them off from inside your trailer.

Thank you. I was going crazy trying to figure this switch out. I guess recept means receptacle...

Our Gateway has a receptacle up high near where the awning fabric attaches to the camper, our switch controls that receptacle.
We have another receptacle below the awning extension arms and that one is not on a switch.
