I'm open to disc brakes. If the choice is double the cost for the 4K brakes versus just doing the up grade I will definitely consider the up grade. But when looking at the bearings and seals for it, they all come up as the 3.5K.
I would go ask the dealer I got it from, but camping world bought...
Hey guys,
My trailer says the axles are 4400lb axles. When looking at e trailer for my camper they only recommended the 3.5k brake replacements. Not the 4.5. Is the 3.5k the factory kit? Or do I need to pay extra for the 4.4K kits.
Should I consider replacing the drums or not yet? I only...
Hey everyone, looking if anyone has some insight to this area. We are headed the TN to spend a week with the inlaws. But for the kids, and not using a hotel we are taking the Camper. Want to stay somewhere in Southern Kentucky, or North TN not to far off I75. We're coming from Michigan. But...
So I need a good ext. Cleaning, and probably should wax my trailer. Maybe wash the roof as well. Which products are safe and you guys have had good luck with?
Thanks
Just came across this from the Ford forum. A way to use your 4 wheel low to back up by disengaging your front hub vacum pump is what it looks like. If anyone is interested.

My NT has a 3/4" ish round gasket like bead on the sides to what appears drain any water that gets by the flaps out. It's coming off at the top on the one side. What should I get to re stick it to the slide? It's appears to have been glued on. So it's a rubbery make up to the fiberglass side of...
That seems kinda low IMO unless your really getting it. My ex has almost 200k on it. I get 9 around Michigan unless I am hammering. Check your camper tires to make sure they are wearing right and your axles are aligned. User Aprodoc I think told me his was off.
Obviously a Powerstroke is...
Something I noticed yesterday. We had an all day rain and was checking the camper to make sure I had no leaks. When I was looking at my flexible drain line under my kitchen sink I noticed it's not pitched to drain. On my BRS the kitchen slides out. So if you have one or similar keep this in...
Next time I suggest you don't get the phone from the store. Get a left over model from Amazon or other and take it in. They will activate it for you. Some you can do online. Can save you couple hundred bucks if you don't have to have the latest and greatest.
And don't forget your camper spare. I know I guy on his last trip who forgot to load his camper spare in the back. I (Cough) mean he has a hitch on the back for bikes or carry rack and took it out to load some other things and never put it back in.... I think he realized after a half hour. But...
You guys are taking this off topic from my question. My question has to do with the rotors. If I had a newer diesel engine with that technology I wouldn't be asking that question. I will qualify it by saying older gas powered trucks used for towing.
I have read drilled and slotted rotors are better for towing. I also heard from some guys that towing can crack them. Anyone have any experience either way or scientific data either way?
Thanks
I contacted Hensley about hitched just to see what they had to say. I got that weird feeling like there selling Amway or pyramid schemes. I just can't see how there set up is 5 times as much as new equalizer, Reese or Anderson set up. They don't show up on any ones top 5 hitches when I search...
I saw the p3. I was just curious as why I don't see lots of them at the camp grounds. That orange is hard to miss. I can't say I have spotted one yet. I usually look at hitches out of curiosity to see what people run.
I was looking at the prices and have a hard time with the extra cost. I'm all...
Any one use one of these? I watched the video they had. I didn't agree with a Dodge intrepid towing a 20' trailer and calling it safe. Any way looks like a nice hitch. Curious if any one has / had one.

We always bring our own drinking water. Most of the parks taste to chlorinated I have been to. My 2 year old son drank a good amount of the water. He was fine. Plus after we got back our friends we saw previously were sick to. So we know it wasent the water.
But the county park is nice. Good...
So last weekend we were up in Caseville Mi for 3 nighter at the beach. Lake view site, pretty good weather. Second evening comes and bam. I get hit with the summer flu. Ruff night in the camper for sure. Plus my daughter got sick. Wife wasent feeling the best either. Then 3rd night my oldest...
Tow vehicle I can get all the kids in and tow a 5th wheel. Any one want to finance me over 20 years? At zero percent🙋

I know a lot of you all probably have a compressor with you. But for those of us who don't. Make sure you check your spare tire on your TV before you head out. I've had my Ex for over a year now. Usually I check my spare tires when I do my air pressure. For some reason never checked it on this...
So flushing the black tank is fine. I have another hose I use for that as well. I just didn't want to contaminate the next guy. I think for my safety as well as anyone else the bleach bottle will be added before my next trip. Might even have one of those check valves for safety as well.
So...
Question that came to mind while leaving the campground from the weekend. I was at a full hook up site. I drained my black water tank, and did not use my flush at the site. Is flushing your system at the site with the potable water safe for the next user. I know there has been some talk on here...
Hey John, that camper wasent much to look at. But with that back ground who cares. I'd be happy if I had a pinto in the photo. When the kids are bigger I want to make it out that way. Will need a full bank of vacation days for that one. But will be worth it.
You said your brakes were slamming hard? That can be adjusted with your brake controller. Which model is it? Lower your gain may help. If it's a prodigy 3 model change your boost setting. Mine will jerk at low speeds if the boost is cranked up. If it's another model the gain will be a rotary...
You know what the two happiest days are of a boat owner?
The day they buy it. Then the day they sell it. Lol. And boat stands for: Bust Out Another Thousand.
Just an FYI
Is that both legs? One leg? Where did you take the measurement?
Does it trip when you do something or at random? Like air conditioner coming on?
Check your cord ends. Maybe one of your cords is bad. You'll never see the amparage draw inside if it's out in your cords.
Could be bad breaker. Can...
I went from a 24' TT to a 32'. My thoughts coming home from the dealership were. What did I just buy. After a few trips I wished I would have went a little bit bigger.
I think you will notice the NT spread axle backs up nice. I find it very forgiving. But They are hard to see around. I know a...
Wow. I remember shopping at gander mountain for fishing stuff back before there was a supper store called cabelas. After that opened it was closer than GM and better selection. Now Bass pro owns cabelas. Now Camping world is taking over GM. I got sucked in CW when I first started camping. I...
She's a beaut Clark. Don't be fallen in love with her, she's going with me when I leave. Lol.
But I am so jealous. Most people impulse by a kitchen item. Vacuum. Something less than $500. RVers impulse trade up 4500 trucks. Lol.
She is a gorgeous. Enjoy.
Is the jayco a metal siding or fiber glass? May be a factor to consider.
Spread axle vs the standard gap may be something else to look at. I think the white hawk Jayco series had the spread axle. Not sure what that one your looking at is.
I believe the NT is the rear kitchen model? If it's...
When I got my NT. I went through and checked all my water line fittings I could touch when I de winterized. They are black compression ones around the lines. A few seemed a little lose to me. Like by hand I turned them half a turn. To tight will crush them. But looked for leaks one the system...
Okay. So trying to stay positive and tell my self small leaks are part of camping? I know most can be prevented. I guess since I have had it for just over a year i wasent looking as hard as I should have for bad caulk joints. But my wife came in and told me there was some water on the floor...
