I can't believe it, I have the same fifth wheel, purchased about a month ago and it had the same problem. It did have a washer and dryer, which we had removed. I had the dealer replace the fiberglass and he said he looked inside and no water damage. There was none where the washer and dryer were.

The way this wood is damaged suggests damage from the inside. Very recent. There was a washer and dryer in the rig and we had the dealer remove them. The wavy filon was replaced. The rig goes to a repair shop on September 12 and I will have them check this damaged wood area. Bill

Thank you for you reply. When we bought this, very recently, the fiberglass under the front area (king pin area) was very wavy and we had the dealer fix that. We are taking it to a repair shop next month for some serious slide repair. Thinking we made a mistake buying this. Bill

Just purchased a 2009 Big Horn with the same problem. It had a washer and dryer, but found no evidence of leakage. The fiber glass had puled away from the trim. Had the dealer install new fiber glass before it left the lot. I will be keeping an eye on it.

Bob, thank you for the info. I'm sure I would have a **** of time trying to post a pic. I will be taking it to my mechanic on the 4th of August and see what can be done. Needs a couple things. Looks like 20 pound short propane tanks, I bought two 40 pounders and will try to get them installed.
