I am looking at the 2009 Big Horn 3580rl and the salesman says 36 foot.
I cannot find any info on that, only on 38 foot 3580rl. Folks, please
enlighten me, any thing I should know would be appreciated. One thing
I don't understand is I can not find a sewer hose storage tube. Thank you
for all the info.

Hi Bill,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and hopefully to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

There is no storage tube on the units, but a lot of folks make one using the PVC post or pipe. Some also use the plastic storage bins. Looking at a picture of the off door side it looks like a small door under the water heater area that can be used as a sewer hose storage area.

The specs I saw listed it as 38' 8".

Be sure and check out our Heartland Owners Club. Join us at a rally when you can and meet lots of the great folks here and make friends for a lifetime.

Enjoy the forum.

Next to the water heater and furnace is a small compartment with a door. This is for storage of the sewer hoses. My old unit had this and I really liked it and wish they would have kept it on the newer models.

If you have the small compartment that Gary mentioned, you can get a 15 ft. RhinoFlex in there, along with a 10 ft. extension, with their fittings. Got one on my '09 BH3670.
