We just came back from the Redwoods in California. We stayed at Kamp Klamath just about 19 miles south of Crescent City. We enjoyed the campground, but bathrooms are not that great. People who run it are really nice and on Saturday nights they do an all you can eat bbq for about 16.00 a person...

JohnDar, It looks like silicone caulk on it now, but it has not held up. It could be the caulk job so I'll need to look at it again. Might think about doing inside and outside the shower...it would be overkill, but don't like water getting out of the shower.

We have also found that we need to re-caulk inside the shower where the glass shower wall meets the shower surround. What kind do I use? Wasn't sure if I could just use one that I would use around my shower at home.

We have not experienced this, but maybe your dealer could recommend something. Hope it works out.

I emailed Heartland to ask about caulking and they said if it's not already caulked then don't caulk it.

Ok so we have decided on the caulk to use...sikaflex 505 uv. We have started the process, but as I look at the old caulking I am noticing that there is not caulk on the underside of things..(ie storage compartments, tail lights). I know not to caulk the underside of the windows, but do I caulk...

Things worked out. Brad just replaced the tongue jack and for whatever reason the toilet fixed on it's own. Ended up being a good weekend after all.😛

Well this is our second trip out with our 24rbs and things aren't starting very smoothly. The first time out everything worked perfectly. Going camping this weekend so I think when we get back we will go talk to Les Schwab or/and Discount tire. It might be best if we stay with the same tire size. I will post what we decide on when we get new tires. Thanks for all of the advice...it's a lot of info, but useful.

mlpeloquin, We would buy the maxxis if we could find the 8 ply in our tire size, but we just don't see it on the chart provided. Our we missing something?

JohnD, Yes I saw the ones that tie down the awning when it is extended, but these looked like they were on the awning when it was rolled up and in the reviews people said they liked them for traveling. Just wondering if anyone uses them. Then again I could be mistaken so I will look again. Thanks
