    Wiring in ducted ceiling. I

Just a quick question. Is it safe to run a 110 12-2 that is weather rated down the length of the trailer by way of AC duct in the ceiling?

    New mattress!

That’s why I came here to get better more “trustworthy” information. I actually found the copper mattress last night and like what I see vs the gel. My wife even asked if a topper would be sufficient. I don’t mind trying one, just felt I would be better off with a full mattress. Plus, if I get a...

    New mattress!

I was this close to the zenith with the gel memory foam. That’s when I started doing some research and found out about mold issues. Did you get the gel or green tea model on the zenith? Is the 8” big enough? I only weigh 190lbs. Is there anything anyone knows can be done to keep from having a...

    New mattress!

That’s what I’m looking for, more brands I haven’t found. I would still like to hear from anyone on the Hybrid beds and the one I mentioned in particular. Just remember I’m going back with the short queen. I have seen plenty of beds I was interested in that are not available in short queen.

    New mattress!

Well the wife and I have endured the factory mattress for too long. I have been “given permission” to remedy the problem. After much research I think I have more questions than when I started. I have decided to keep the short queen size. No topper, we are replacing the whole mattress. I have...

Recommended replacement for Furrion DVD player in Mallard

I have not looked too deeply at replacing mine yet. Ours has messed up several discs both audio and video since we bought our Mallard 3 years ago. If it were a Furrion problem I would imagine we would have heard by now, I just assume I have a faulty product. We do not use it for that purpose...

    Tire Pressure Monitor

I have Tireminder A1A. Used last two years and decided I just didn’t want. Comes with everything including a couple of extra batteries and O rings. Sells on Amazon new for around $300 with just 4 transmitters. 2 pack of Transmitters cost about $60 each. That’s $420 on Amazon. Selling for $200.

ATF: Mallard - Pre wire for AC

Thanks, I was unsure if starting a new one would be a copy or not. I just figured it wasn't a factory question.

ATF: Mallard - Pre wire for AC

Re: A/C and Vent fan suggestions It's pre wired at kitchen not bedroom. Helps for fishing 110 to bedroom though if I wish.

ATF: Mallard - Pre wire for AC

A/C and Vent fan suggestions So this is a more general question to my unit. I have 1 vent and 1 A/C in the main section, vent with fan in the bathroom, and a vent in bedroom. The "kitchen" vent holds the pre wire for A/C which would put a second A/C in the main room. I would prefer a second A/C...

ATF: Mallard - Pre wire for AC

On a side note I was thinking about the fantastic vent fan. Which by the way I would rather have in the kitchen to vent when cooking. In fact at this point I am ready to fish New wire, 12v to the kitchen and 120 to the bedroom. On looking in some of the A/C vents, I noticed in the bathroom ...

ATF: Mallard - Pre wire for AC

So after making some inquiries to this at Heartland itself and from what I have read on the forums, I went and pulled the vent in the bedroom to check and found nothing. This led me to thinking some more and went to the vent in the kitchen. Guess what I found? Yep, a pigtail for an A/C unit. I...

ATF: Mallard - Pre wire for AC

I have a 2017 Heartland Mallard M302 that I purchased in January. It is a 50 Amp unit. Website says they are 30Amp (things may not have been updated?). Is my unit pre wired for a second AC unit?

    Digital controls

I guess I should have elaborated a little. I have the Coleman-Mach mechanical thermostat and wanted to replace it with the Coleman-Mach digital unit. The only reason is because I want a digital reading/ more precise control over temperature. I would like to keep things "factory", otherwise I...

    Digital controls

I went to parts at CW to see about replacing mechanical thermostat with Digital. Was told I would have to change the board in the AC unit to Digital so they would work. I do A C for a living and this makes no sense to me. Is the correct in the RV world?

    Peel and stick trim

Thank you, I will do that. I am hoping it is something I can buy local. We like the design and would like to keep it the same.

    Peel and stick trim

Was was trying to find where to get the tile behind my stove on a Mallar M302. We are thinking about adding more to the backsplash and would like to use the same style.

That's what I thought but wanted to be sure. Thanks so much!

    What is This?

That was fast! Most important part has been answered. On to the trivial part. What do you normally plug into that 12v receptacle below the red switch? Do they happen to make a 12V TV? I know they made DVD to layers with small screens at one time that you would use while traveling.

    What is This?

So as we are going through and preparing/planning what we think we need for our TT, my wife asks me a question, "What is This?". Somehow I missed a few things during the walk through when I picked up my Heartland Mallard (Go figure). So What is this. It looks to be a 12V outlet you would find...

Hello. I just joined the Club this week. I was looking at my profile today and it does not have me as a member. It does say Application Submitted. Does anyone know how long that takes?

    Service plug

Thing is, I would have had them put another A/C unit in a couple of weeks ago when I bought it had I known. Wife would really have loved that! By the way, if she sees that hairdryer, I will be forced to buy one! Please remove it!

    Service plug

I did a look around at the Dealer and found no other Mallards with a 50 Amp service. I plan on wiring up a box at home, and when I do I will test and see what runs on each leg. Seems to be a blessing in disguise. By the way it is a 2017 M302 rear kitchen.

    Service plug

Didn't know how else to put this, so here goes. I was at Camping World looking for Surge protection and other things. Asking for some guidance, the person asked if I had 30 or 50 amp service. I said I had 30 and even showed him on the web sight where my new TT was 30 amp. As we are looking at...

ATF: Mallard - Solar panel connection

May be too late, but others can use this information. The connector on the Mallards is by "Furrion". They have a 95 watt panel with controller that connects to it. There are Two companies that make an adapter as well as portable panels. They are Zamp and Go Power. I am sure there are other...
