They are 295 watt panels from mission solar: http://www.missionsolar.com/mse-perc-60/ They have held up great and performed really well. I’m probably going to add 2 more. I got them from Continuous Resources. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Upgraded to 6 Lithium Batteries

I’ve been running 3 of the 100AH Battleborn batteries since April and have absolutely loved them. We’ve been boondocking outside of the Badlands for the last week and our 600 watts of solar and Battle Born batteries have kept our residential fridge running without any problem. We’ve also been...

Do you Run Refridgerator when RV is stored?

I have 3 100-hour Battle Born (LiFePO4) lithium batteries for a totally of 300 usable amp hours. I also have 600 watts of solar. So far my residential fridge will use about 114 - 125 amp hours overnight when sitting outside our home (DFW area, so generally warmer temps). We’ve had it use less...

    Hail Damage

It was $160/linear foot when I originally got a quote. The price went up when I finally got it scheduled earlier this year, but they honored the quote they gave me last July. I had them quote 39 feet and when they measured, the actual length ended up at 38.5 ft. So it was right around $6000...

    Hail Damage

We had the http://rvroof.com RV Flex Armor sprayed on our rig as a preventative measure and so far love it. We had it done at the Denton, Texas location and they were great to work with. They even installed my solar panel mounts and junction box before spraying so that it would be sealed with...

    And Another Hanger Failure

Hopefully they are able to help you find someone! Every time I see another post like this it makes me glad I had MORryde rip out our brand new suspension and put on their independent suspension. I know that not everyone can afford to add it or needs it, but with the miles we will be traveling...

    Roof leaking after 3 years , 2015 3110

I’m not sure how much additional weight was added. I didn’t weigh before and after. I believe I heard it was a couple hundred pounds. I had them spray over the shower dome to protect it from hail damage. They said that the new roof is so tough they have had to grind out around them when they...

    Roof leaking after 3 years , 2015 3110

We had the RV Flex-Armor roof sprayed on our rig a few months ago at http://dfwrvroof.com/rv-flex-armor/ and love it so far. They were great to work with and even helped with physically mounting my solar panels when all I asked them to do was put the mounts on so they could be sprayed/sealed...

    Slide Floor Detaching

Thanks Dan! Made a phone call and they had received my pictures and had them associated with our VIN. They just had not replied to the email. They said that it looked like I could probably try to fix it myself in order for us to go on the trip and then get it into the repair shop when we return...

    Slide Floor Detaching

Last Saturday when we were packing up, my wife noticed that our main slide (with the residential fridge/table/entertainment center) looked like something was wrong after it came in. It didn't make any weird noises, and we hadn't noticed anything wrong during our 2 week stay in this one spot...

    Dually Tires...Larger, Wider, Aggressive, Spacers....Thoughts??

How are those Sailuns performing? I was looking at those for when it comes time to replace the factory tires on my 2016 f350 DRW (hopefully not anytime soon with only 26000 miles on them.) Edited ... I had my kids in my lap and failed to read your whole post. You already answer my...

Fifth Wheel pin placement! Over axle or in front of???

Ha! Nope...I was going off of only knowing how the Ford companion works where the arms attach to the same mounting holes regardless of the direction. So the weight of the pin is transferred down to the same spots on the base in either position. I didn’t realize the Ram version had twice as many...

Fifth Wheel pin placement! Over axle or in front of???

Since this is the factory puck system, wouldn’t the weight basically be the same in either position? It will all transfer down to the base which is in a fixed position. My understanding was the option of how to position was to allow a little more space between the front cap and back of the...

    Hooray, I am now legal!!!!

I’ve also been looking for the best place near me (just east of Denton) and I think the new driver license office in Carrollton is supposed to have lanes for commercial vehicle testing. I need to call them and find out if the driving and written tests can be done same day or separately. Sent...

    Frame sagging in rear

All of these stories of frame issues make me glad the first stop I made after picking up our new 5th wheel was at MORryde. I got a couple of funny looks when I told people I was getting rid of brand new axles/suspension with only about 300 miles on them. But so far I am loving it! Sent from...

"Lithium" batteries Lithium iron phosphate LiFePO4 12 volt DC battery

So far the Battle Born batteries are doing great. I didn’t have my battery monitor setup yet, but we left Dallas Thursday evening heading to Florida and didn’t hook up to electric until 24 hours later in Alabama. Not sure how far we drained them down, but the fridge ran the entire time. Granted...

What did you do to your camper today?

This is why the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry is such a good fit for RVs. Even in an overcharged state, this type of lithium battery is not combustible. Each battle born battery has a built in BMS to prevent over charging, over discharging, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do to your camper today?

No, the lithium doesn’t have off gassing requiring venting. They recommend having them inside where they are not subjected to extreme cold or heat. These have a built in battery management system that would prevent them from charging when it is too cold or discharging when it is too hot to...

What did you do to your camper today?

I got 3 of the 100 amp hour batteries. Model BB10012. Hopefully with these and 600 watts of solar, that will take care of keeping the residential fridge running when boondocking. Only run the onan when necessary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do to your camper today?

Last night I finished taking out the sofa sleeper from the bunk room and installed the bunk beds I built for our girls. The stain I used ended up being a better match than I thought it was going to be when I had it in the garage. I also got my 3 new Battle Born lithium batteries installed...

What did you do to your camper today?

It depends on the condition of the roof. The one next to me they were having to rebuild quite a bit of the roof due to water damage so most of it was removed. On mine they removed areas that were bubbled up and not glued down. They also went past the seam of the front cap by about 6 or 7 inches...

I picked up our Gateway from dfwrvroof.com after getting the RV Flex Armor roof sprayed on this week. I’m in the process of installing solar and lithium batteries for the same reason. Full-time in a Gateway?

I have a 2016 F-350 Dually. I got it 1 1/2 years before we found our full time rig (we had an older 5th wheel at first before we decided to go full time).
