Ok to insulate?

Is it ok to put some foam insulation around the pipe from the toilet that goes through the basement floor to the Black tank? Or could it cause issues doing that?

I say do it. Can't imagine any negative consequences.

As you can imagine. that tank will expand and contract depending on how much is in it. I left mine exposed so it could "breathe" in case of a leak anywhere. Are you afraid of something getting thru there?
