The picture is the right rear back of my 2009 Sundance 2900MK and as you can see, the base of the back wall has vertically separated from the side wall for a distance of a foot or so.
Any ideas about:
1. What might have caused this separation
2. What is the likely fix for this problem...
If I attach a shutoff valve on the main waste water outlet and then open both grey water tank valves, will the water levels in both grey water tanks become equal?
I am interested in doing this when dry camping to create more waste water storage capacity for taking showers. Washing dishes in a...
After 6 years of usage, approximately 2-3 months annually, the hot water tank in our Sundance developed a pin hole corrosion leak on the bottom of the tank.
I am disappointed with the short life span.
The anode rod was replaced whenever necessary.
Has anyone experienced broken shackles? Both of the bolt holes on the two shackles which attach the shackles to the rear spring on the passenger side of the Sundance became elongated enough to finally give way allowing the spring to flip upwards and rest against the frame. A further examination...
In order to lubricate the Ez Lube axels, I will need to jack up the Sundance 5th wheel while it is in storage. Normally I do not have the 5th wheel hitch in my truck and I am wondering whether I can simply jack up the 5th wheel with the landing gear down or should I install the hitch before...
The hot water tap in our bathroom sink emits a loud squeaky noise when it is turned either on or off, No noise from any other taps in he RV.
I cannot figure out how to diassemble it? Any suggestions?
I have tried putting vaseline and lithium lubricant spray at the bottom of the tap but...
Having a Sundance 2900mk I went through the pictures and specifications with a great deal of interest.
I would like to think that I am capable of doing this in an unbiased manner because if I really saw something a whole better, frankly, I would buy it now.
I will not go through all the...
Has any one with a Sundance 2900 MK replaced the ST235/80/R16 tires with Michelin XPS Ribs LT 235/85/R16 tires?
Has the different size caused any clearance problems?
Has the different construction caused any handling problems?
A friend of mine recently bought a Four Star Rated (By the RV Consumer Group) trailer. The rv manufacturer has a reputation for quality and its products are relatively expensive. Yesterday I was present when my friend was inflating the air mattress.
I do not know who made that chesterfield...
We have just started a six week tour in our new Sundance and the motor that activates the rear stabilizers has failed.
We contacted Richardsons in Sun City, the nearest Heartland dealer and explained our problem.
Their response was that they could make an appointment for us in one month. I...
Alpha recommends the use of Top Job, Spic-N-Span, or Ajax Cleanser for cleaning the EDPM roof.
Would you believe it??? None of these products are sold in Canada!
Any suggestions?
On RV.net I discovered a thread which says that Dometic will provide a free Retrofit Kit for the Electric A&E 9100 Awning which will enable the awning to dump rain water.
I contacted Dometic and they confirmed this but said that they would only distribute the Retrofit Kit to Dometic Dealers...
I would appreciate your having a look at the Thread for "Heating Issues" in the Sundance General Discussions.
As I posted in that thread, there is only one hose that comes through the stair well on my model 2900MK rather than the two hoses shown in the pictures for the model 2998RB.
While...
I have a 2009 Sundance 2900MK which has an electric power awning.
I plan to have slidetoppers installed but have been informed by my dealer that a slidetopper cannot be installed on the kitchen slide because it will interfere with the electric awning.
Is this information correct?
It seems that I see an announcement every week or so about an RV manufacturer who is closing up or severely reducing its production workforce. A headline on RV net claims RV sales are down 80%.
I am told that the reason Western Recreational Vehicles , manufacturer of Alpenlite RV's, went into...
I presently have a travel trailer and am now considering the purchase of a Sundance 5th wheel.
Heartland promotes its "88 degree turning radius".
I have a standard bed duramax and wonder whether I should be considering a slider hitch. Will I ever be turning sharper than 88 degrees? Are there...
We have been seriously looking at a 2900MK but we have some reservations over the fact that when the slides are in one cannot access anything but the bathroom.
This poses a problem for us as we load the trailer in a storage lot where it will not be possible to fully open the slides. This will...
