Like everyone has said, you'll be fine. I've been through it with no problems at all. Plenty of room. Wonder where about in VA you are? You can PM me if you like.

Thanks for all the input. I'll have to get that looked at too. I'm not tearing it apart myself.

Why are you driving all the way to Danville when there is a really great dealer right in Chesapeake?

    Slow Draining Grey Tank

My black tank drains great, my grey tank(s) not so. The shower tank especially (the kitchen tank rarely gets used) is really slow draining. Anyone have this problem or have any idea what might be wrong?

Sofa Bed - Tear in Mattress caused by rough metal frame

I too had holes in my air mattress straight from the factory, first time it was unfolded, caused by a sharp claw like hook at the hinge part of the frame. I turned it over to my dealer and they got nowhere with Flair warranty. I then called Flair myself and the warranty woman I spoke with was...

    Remote Thermostats

Thanks, I called Carrier and he said there were no calibration adjustments. He said it sounded like it was the sending unit in the A/C itself and my dealer could call them and they would explain how to correct it. Maybe I'll actually get to my dealer before Summer is over at this rate.

    Remote Thermostats

Lol, now I'm getting confused. I don't have a wireless remote for the A/C and furnace. It is hardwired to the wall in the hallway right at the top of the steps outside the bathroom. But, it is a digital thermostat, not analog. I looked at the Carrier website and they don't show this thermostat...

    Remote Thermostats

Yes, there is a regular Carrier digital thermostat on the wall right next to the remote Fantastic controller I had added. It controls both the AC and the furnace. I actually called HL and they didn't know much about it since they recently started using Carrier, they had me call Carrier who told...

    Remote Thermostats

I've got a Carrier AC and digital thermostat in mine. Although everyone (HL, Carrier, etc.) wants to keep telling me it's a remote 'stat it is not. There are said to be problems with the remote ones "catching up", mine has problems knowing what temp it is. It's about 6-8* off.

    Air Bag Inflation Question

Good point spookdawg13. I had thought about that and then forgot. I measured them when unhitched and they are at 35. So I need to measure them while hitched and see I guess. Maybe I'm running way over what I should be although it seems if I was the ride would be much stiffer than it is. Now it's...

Five Stars for Heartland Customer Service

I must add, I have to agree with SilverRhino. Matt and Eric and Customer Service were the most pleasant and helpful people. The first switch they sent didn't fit in the cabinet. It was too deep and the door wouldn't close. Oh well. Stuff happens. No ones fault. So they sending me another.

    Refer coils icing up

My last refer was a Norcold and I could go all season with out defrosting with no problem. We'd get a little frost buildup on the back wall of the freezer and maybe a tiny bit on the fins in the fridge, but that was about it. And my daughter is in and out of it ALL the time. We'll see how the...

    Not So Minor Water Issue

Thanks 'Tab, I appreciate the info and pics very much! I was going to try to take just a few screws out at first and see if any water pours out and try to feel the insulation, too. And I received my new inlet panel today as well as a 4 gang light switch to fix my porch light wired to scare light...

    Air Bag Inflation Question

Added airbags when we got the new rig. Never had them before. Dealer inflated them to approx 35 lbs and truck and rig sit nice and level. But I feel like I'm driving a boat now. What do you all run in your bags, and do you just inflate them until level or do you fine tune them to your liking? I...

    Not So Minor Water Issue

I need to see if the under belly is full of water now that I've got the basement dry. It's sagging but when I push up on it it doesn't feel like there is water in there nor do I hear any sloshing but I need to know so it doesn't get moldy. I dread taking the cover off, or even somewhat off...

Outdoor Porch Light - Where IS SWITCH????

I'm kind of picky too. It drives me crazy that almost every switch in the cabinet is a different color...white, black, off white, tan, whatever. But on the bright side I guess they are color coded so you don't have to read what switch is for what. :D I hope they take care of you too. It never...

Mine are wired goofy too. The door side scare light and porch light are on the same switch. Ah...yeah. Great if you hate your neighbors. Refrigerator Use on the road

You've noticed that too, huh? Have to make a mental note to remember to turn it back on next time you stop. As for the OP, I have done both. Not So Minor Water Issue

Yeah, if you would I'd appreciate it. I need to find one. We dry camp too much. And I HAVE to ask. Why the heck did they put a screw in one on your black but not the city inlet with all the problems with this happening? Makes no sense. I'm still more concerned with my water pump and heater and...

    Not So Minor Water Issue

So we were out this past weekend dry camping and I get up and use the toilet and brush my teeth and turn on pump and hot water heater and go back to bed while water heats. Get back up and try to figure out what small motor running noise is. Can't figure out and go to take shower. NO water. Not a...

    Shower leaking

The round thing in the shower is indeed plumbing access and the thing inside there is most likely the backflow thingy for the black tank flush. I read where they moved it there from inside a wall where it used to be.

    Quality sound

Sounds like something isn't right. We have a BC and my kids get it cranked up and it sounds fairly decent. I walked in one day and thought I was in a movie theater. What radio do you have? Ours is a Jensen AWM970, or 970AWM, or something like that. :) And I'm pretty sure the BC's don't come with...

    Shower leaking

Hey, thanks for the tip Pulltab. I know what you're talking about. I had already picked up a tube of silicon that doesn't need a gun since the gun is so awkward, especially in the shower. Maybe between the two I can make it look good...and not leak. :)

    Shower leaking

Lol! Thanks for brightening my day. :) I'll try that. I stink at caulking, but I can't do much worse than it already is I don't think. I think I've used Goof Off or one of those others like it to remove caulk before. Thank!
