    ATF: Road Warrior - Fenders

I got a set of aluminum fenders for a Horse trailer, they were built way better than the plastic ones. I did have to shorten the ends as they were made to come down further but that was no big deal and I had to split them where the slides came out. once they were installed I think they look...

ATF: Road Warrior - where are my satellite cables located

I currently have a winegard carryout that we have used twice, salesman talked me into it saying it could be moved if trees block signal. anyways it is to much of a pain to set up so I decided to go permanent on the roof and was told the cable is up in the roof someplace, just need to narrow it...

ATF: Road Warrior - where are my satellite cables located

I have a Road Warrrior RW365, my plan is to install a permanent satellite receiver, I would like to know the location of the cables under the roof skin? is there a soft spot as I have heard some people say or are they located back by the air conditioner someplace as I've also read.

    Ramp Failure!

You are absolutely correct, "Factory Defect" by Heartlands own admission, but since it is out of Warranty tough luck. If I wasn't so ticked off it would be funny, I talked to Jim Fenner in customer service, he said that it is a defect but since Lippert is picking up the door I should be happy...

    Ramp Failure!

Went back to Heartland to see if they would participate in the labor to replace the door, but as I expected they said its out of warranty and your on your own. I will be sure to relay this great customer service to all my friends and anybody else that will listen. not that they care but they...

    Ramp Failure!

So as a followup, I went to Heartland to get my rear door repaired, sent pictures and ultimatrely was told, sorry but we can't help you. I was upset, and felt that the service life should have been more than 20 uses, so I called Lippert, sent them the same pictures, and received a followup a...

    Ramp Door Issues

it appears that my problem is a delamination, I think the plywood was glued to the foam creating a structure that was solid, once it failed there was just foam, plywood, and fiberglass. I bet I haven't used my door more than 20 times, I thought I was the only one with the problem, but it appears...

    Ramp Failure!

The reality is this, Me and everybody else bought our units from Heartland, NOT Lippert. In my mind that makes Heartland responsible for providing a unit that lives up to the customers realistic expectations. If these compnoents are junk then the manuf should not be buying them from this...

    Ramp Door Issues

I have that very problem, in the center of the door it sags about 5" when standing on it and 3 by itself. There is no way it will support 1000 lbs per contact point. My unit is A 2010 and I did call Lippert, where they told me the unit was only warranted for a year. It started with a bubble down...

ATF: Road Warrior - rear door delamination

Of course you wouldn't, and your right I probably shouldn't have either but i've been busy and haven't used my trailer in a while. Still I would have expected a response, I know somebody from the factory has looked at this and has chosen not to respond

ATF: Road Warrior - rear door delamination

Well 3 months has expired and no response from the factory, of course I haven't been persistent yet. I'm now to a point that I will have to be, the door will sag by 3" with just the weight of a person, no way will it support a 1000 per contact point. I have contacted lippert who explained that...

ATF: Road Warrior - rear door delamination

I realize they don't monitor 24/7, but I did expect something in a week, as for owner to owner, I doubt it, that's why its called ask the factory, I f I was looking for owner to owner I would have posted in the general section.

interesting, this is supposed to be the ask the factory thread, thus far I've gotten no reply, what gives?

ATF: Road Warrior - rear door delamination

I have a 2010 RW 365, love the trailer, however after de-winterizing it I had the rear garage door open and noticed that the drop gate surface had delaminated from the base structure. this is obviously not normal, what can I do?

    bypass valves

OK, so it isn't just a matter of turning a valve but 4 screws and your into the water heater area, the only time I get back there is during winterizing and de-winterizing, so removing the 4 screws is no big deal for me. you cut an access panel with a hinge to make it really easy I guess

2011 Cyclone 3812 - Any other cyclone owners with heating problems?

Not sure what your issue could be, but I will tell you my experience. Last year my wife and I were going to Moab, UT in Oct., we live in MT, when we left it was in the single digits and on our way it dropped to -8f, the heater kept the unit warm and the water never froze. I will say that if you...

305 Road Warrior Door and Tire issues

As for the crack in the middle of the garage door, mine is showing the seam and appears that it is seperating from the underlayment. I run Nitrogen in my truck tires, theoretically it is supposed to maintain a constant pressure, whereas air will fluctuate with heat.

    Winterizing

I have a 2010 road warrior, there is no water heater bypass in the UDC, you will have to remove 4 screws and take the short panel behind the udc off, there is a short hose connected to the pump and as cookie says move the valve to winterize and it will draw out of your anti freeze jug. the water...

I'm not sure how you found that, it is in my hometown and i actually saw the carnage. I wouldn't call the guy stupid, just shoot happens, cause if I was to call him stupid, well you know about Karma.

    Last Ford

First off I own Fords, to say that I've been happy with them all wouldn't be true, the trucks themselves were awesome, but the motors were a bit of a letdown, primarily in fuel mileage dept., one of the posters had a new 6.4 and wasn't happy with the mileage, I can relate to that. Now having...

    Timbrens rubber Springs

I don't understand what you mean by not user friendly? don't they replace the stock bumpers and only come into play when there is a load? having installed the airbags, the installation of these looks to be a cake walk. Anyways thanks for all the great feedback, now where is the best place to...

    Timbrens rubber Springs

I had a 2008 ford that I installed the air bags, and while it isn't overwhelming to install, it's not like the pictures shown on the link. It was a pain which is why I was thinking about the Timbrens, ease of installation over the air bags was appealing. My truck actually sets level with the...

    Timbrens rubber Springs

Well 18 posts and pretty much all agree that the Timbrens are the ticket, then comes the 19th. So I was all set to pull the trigger, now I'm not so sure, i've used the ride rite airbags with great success, but, they are expensive and a pain to install. Now I guess I'll have to do some soul...

2011 Super Duty F-350 Dually or F-450 Dually...Anyone own one yet???

I too had a 2008 ford diesel, mileage on it was 5-9 never double digits. so I bit the bullet and got the 2011 F350 srw crew cab 4x4, I pull a 365 road warrior which is also 41' just made a trip of about 1300 miles and averaged 8.3 mpg at about 77 mph. prior to that I made a 2600 mile trip...

    Looking at the F350

I've heard all the stories about how the 6.0 got a bad rap, well after 3 turbos 5 oil leaks and then a thirst for coolant at <30,000 it was time to get rid of it so I traded it for a 08 6.4, this truck was never in the shop, never, of course maybe it should have been because that truck never saw...

No bailout money needed at Ford, maybe the taxpayers won't be so generous next time.

Some information on the Ford 6.0 engine-long post

I think I'd be happy with those mileage numbers, to date I have not seen double digit mpg's, I remain hopeful.

Some information on the Ford 6.0 engine-long post

I would guess with any make or model you can have some bad ones, however to say that there were no issues with the 6.0 would be irresponsible, and to say that oil leaks are to expected, not sure about that either. If we're expressing opinions I'll say the 6.0 was junk and this conclusion was...

    hydraulic jacks

I have the 365 rw and it does have Electric front and rear jacks, the 2011 has the option of hydraulic jacks in the front, they are supposed to be quicker and probably more durable.

    hydraulic jacks

I noticed the 2011 Road Warrior has the option of hydraulic jacks, can they be retrofitted to the 2010 and what do you suppose it would cost? In another post somebody mentioned using a circuit breaker rather than a fuse, that's going to be my first purchase when I get my trailer out.l

    First impressions

Justo to be clear, the only issue that I have is the manual crank, other than that my negatives are really personal issues and had I did my due diligence I would have known upfront what to expect. maybe I have another with the slide, should it go all the way out? should one be able to lean on...

    First impressions

I purchased my new Road Warrior RW365 in Late August, and was finally able to take a week of vacation in October. We left home on a Friday evening with the temp about 2 degrees f and while we were driving the thermometer in my truck dropped down to -8 f, suprisingly we had no issues with water...
