Just wanted to say so long and thanks for all the info I have received the past 4 years from this forum. As the old saying goes, nothing stays the same and we decided to sell the BigHorn and go with a Class A. It was one of those deals that if you are not interested don't look. Well we looked...
Wow, to many questions poped in my mind to ask. Could it be the water hose? I just put a heater on low in the basement storage which keeps pipes warm and heats the bedroom floor at the same time.
Try Hardeeville Rv Park, Hardeeville, SC. Lots of room and trees. WiFi is good and the owner was great. Half price with campclub USA. Close to Savanah.
For a few bucks more you can get the programable one from hunter. I have one for the heat and it sure is nice when it comes on at 6 a.m. on those cool mornings. I do not have the AC on this because mine hase the remote for the AC/Heat and I can't firure out how to wire it for the AC. But the...
We have a 2006 BH with the wireless remote control for the AC. I was able to wire the furnace to a Hunter controler. but cannot figure out the AC. I bet a new board has to be installed in the AC unit. The remote unit is not very accurate, and sometimes hard to use.:(
Do the test. Put different types of TP each in a container of water for 5 min and then swirl them around and see how they break down. Then you can chose the right one.:p
Ken, I got the BAL brand and saved about 40 percent from the the other brands and they work well. Check Dryer's RV for price. I used ours for the first time on a 30 day trip to south Texas and did not take the tripod out of the back of the truck.:D
I had this on my 06 BH 3500. Went to my dealer and got new seal (.89 a ft) and began taking off the strip with lots of screws off and found to much of the seal was sticking up and got caught in the rollers the slide rides on and tore the seal. Put new one on and no problems.:D
As I recall, it was Thanksgiving Day 2007 and we were on our way home from Gatlinburg, Tn. We stoped at the Flying J at Fairview, TN for fuel and lunch. I fueled up, pulled over to the RV parking and began my visual check while the DW made lunch. Thats when I noticed the tires on the door side...
Hey TXBobcat, we are in 457. And yes it is big and crowded. Sping Breakers are coming in every few minutes today. We are kind of glad to leave in the morning.:)
Went to the RV show in Houston, and all of the Monaco Coaches had a disclaimer on them about them pending filing. They were starting the prices at 40 0/0 off MSRP.
Well we have been here in Port Aransas for a month, and Sunday we have to head back home. May the time flew by. It is the first time we have stayed anywhere for a month, and it was great. Here at the Pioneer RV Resort, we have met some very good people, played a lot of BINGO and Texas Holdem...
No problem. I also have the 2006 3500rl and the heat was just not doing right, so after 4 years I started taking the panels off inside the storage and found the 2 blue wires coming from the furnace which were connected to 2 white wires that ran to the air in ceiling. I disconnected those and ran...
We are here in Pioneer RV Park in Port Aransas. Got here on Sunday and have seen several Heartlands in the park. But I think we have the oldest BigHorn.:)
Since I finished the install so late yesterday, I did not get a chance to really test out the new add ons. But today I went out and did some checking. Without the stabilizers locked, I pushed on the pin box and could move the BH quite a bit. I had not done that before and now I understand all...
Well after going to the mall and sitting on Santas lap (more than once), I got what I asked for. I finished the install a few minutes ago, and will try to attach some pictures.
Happy New Year to ALL, and to all a good drink of your choice.:D:D:D
Steve,
I doubt that you jinxed yourself, because I for one think that anything can and will stop working at some point. For me, if its something I can take care of then I see it as a chance to get to know my BH3500 a little better. Oh and good luck telling the DW she should learn how to tighten...
Why is my BH winterized and parked in the back yard in 15 degree weather when we are retired, the price of fuel is the lowest in a year and my wife's brother lives in Florida who we could visit for the holidays.
Happy Holiday to ALL
I was wondering if anyone else got a email from GoodSam about taking a survey? I did and when I went to the survey the first question was what type RV do I have. When I checked 5th wheel and hit next, I got a message that I did not meet the criteria for the survey and...
I have a 2006 3500 that we took delivery of on 1 Apr 2005. The TV did not work from the start, so I took it home and started exploring. Ended up taking the panel off that is over the desk to exspose the bottom that the TV sits on. Toshiba TV by the way. Well, the reason the TV did not work is...
Been here at Branson View campgroung since Thursday, and had a Sundance here. Wed. we stayed at the Stagecoach and had 2 BigHorns, a Big Country and a Lanmark.:D
