Heartland Gives Back Community Service Project
Society of St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry
We are beginning to get into the scheduling portion of our program! We will be working in one hour shifts helping to restock and organize the pantry shelves as well as unloading the delivery truck from Boston.
Shifts will begin at 8:00am on Friday, July 18[SUP]th[/SUP]. Please feel free to respond with a shift choice if you have one. If you are already planning to play Golf, please do not sign up as you will be out on the course at this time!
8:00-9:00 First Shift (3 women, 3 men)
9:00-10:00 Second Shift (3 women, 3 men)
9:30 Truck Unloading Group (6 men)
10:00-11:00 Third Shift (3 women, 3 men)
11:00-12:00 Fourth Shift (3 women, 3 men)
In addition to the Community Service Project we will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the food pantry. Boston/Cape Cod KOA has agreed to help us with this effort and will be collecting at camp in the days and weeks prior to our rally. You may also see a yellow shirt or two at the pantry as they are invited to join in our efforts there. Together we can make a bigger impact on the community and we thank Paula at KOA for her assistance with this project!
