Where do I find the correct lug nut torque for an 2011 Elkridge 27RLS with 16" Aluminum wheels? The owers manual is very generic.

My old SOB trailer had aluminum wheels and they were to be torqued to 120 foot pounds. That is what I use for my Big Country.

Hi Jim,
Is your trailer a 27RLS, or a 27RLSS? Ours is the 27RLSS, and here are some specs I use. I got these (depending on what they are) directly from Heartland or Lippert. Hope it helps!

SPECS ON TRAILER

  • Wheel lug nuts on 5er 120 ft lbs. 7/8 deep well socket
  • Check spring shackle nuts 65 ft lbs 7/8 Deep well socket
  • Hanger & Shackle Bolts 35 ft. lbs. 13/16 Deep well socket
  • Equa-Flex torque at 35-55 ft. lbs. Lippert says to split it & torque at 45 ft. lbs.
  • Don’t torque wet bolts, Lippert says to just make sure they are snug.
  • Lube Equali-flex suspension as needed
  • Heartland recommended max water pressure 40 psi
