My hot and cold lines are tied together to a device under the vanity.
What is the purpose of this? It's not shown on a piping diagram.

Thanks,
Phil

Can you take a picture and post? Is it the bottoms of the tap? Sorry, not meant to be condescending, but I am unaware of a device under the vanity that you describe and would have come from factory, tied to the hot and cold water lines. There is an anti syphon valve on the drain line, but this is not tied into the supply lines.

What color are the two PEX lines that you are seeing?
I agree with Brian that it could be the anti-syphon valve for the black tank flush.
Oh, and what brand and model trailer do you have?

Peace

We have a sundance 3200re and the back of our outdoor shower is under our bathroom vanity.

The unit is 2013 Silverado 33RK. The pipes tied together are the red and blue pex and are not tie to the faucet (at least in the vanity)
Having trouble posting my pic.
Thanks for your replies

Yup -anti syphon for the black water tank flush - it is unfortunate they use red and blue pex (usually represents hot and cold, respectively). Black or white would be better than red/blue in my opinion.

One good thing regardless of the PEX color is the advantage of having good access if the device ever fails. Most of us can't even see or reach the device.
