Started preparing toy hauler for this years trips. The water lines had all been drained, blown out with a compressor and had waterline antifreeze added to them last fall. I energized the water system by connecting to a city provided line and started seeing water running out under the unit within minutes. The water was coming from the area around the city water connection. I accessed the water lines via a wooden panel in the entertainment cabinet and found the connection to the outdoor water sprayer was leaking. Unknown to me, there was a backflow preventer on the line, so water trapped between the outside connection port and the backflow preventer was not evacuated when I purged the system last fall. The water in the space must have frozen and cracked the plastic backflow preventer. Lessen learned and a word of advice, when winterizing the unit, after draining system and turning off the water supply, remember to purge the water from the outside sprayer connection.
