Slide awning

I have a 2014 landmark key largo. The kitchen slide has a awning, when the slide is out the awning has slack at the rear and is tight at the front. I an sure this is an adjustment but would like to know how to do it. It flaps in the breeze and I would like ti fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi MandA,

Take a look at how the fabric is centered on the roller, with slide in, and with slide out. Also look to see if the fabric is torn at the loose end.

If the fabric is not centered, you may be able to re-center it. To do that, you have to manually roll the awning roller against the spring tension until the slot in the roller is exposed and then pin the roller. The bead on the wall is held in place by one or two sheet metal screws. If those are in place, it may be that the bead in the roller has crept front or rear a little. With fabric unrolled until the bead is exposed, you should be able to reposition the bead in the slot by tugging. Might take 2 people though.

It will make more sense if you watch this video.
