Great pics Marv - thanks for sharing. the splitter at your dish is actually being used as a combiner to combine the signals from the 2 LNBs into a single cable to feed the receiver (I believe). This can be done when the down-converted frequency band of the 2 LNBs is different.
My setup is more like LK explained. That new Direct TV setup by Motosat has all the LNBs combined at the antenna, then the combined output is split 4 ways for receivers. Pretty cool. Pretty $$ too.
