2 propane regulators?

2012 3950, why 2 regulators? Their is a regulator after the dual tank switch valve (which feeds the rv), so why is their one on the kitchen side tank, which is upstream of switch valve?

I think it's a safety issue - the regulator that's upstream of the dual tank switch drops the pressure before it goes across the interior of the RV.

You got it right Dan, the red one on the ODS (opposite door side) is a pressure reducer from 220lbs. to either 18 or 30 lbs. as it goes across to the dual tank regulator that feeds 10.5 to 11 inches of water column of pressure.....I made a simple manometer and tested my rig for leaks. Google "RV manometer" and watch the videos http://www.rverscorner.com/manometer
