Hi dwink,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and hopefully to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

No,,, your not nuts,, lots of folks buy and sell or trade units. In fact I just 5 months ago traded for a used unit. Just inspect, check it out good and join us at some rallies.

Keep us informed about your progress.

We owned a 3055 (2008) for 5 years and loved it! Be sure and inspect the floor for any soft spots. This would indicate a water leak.

A MUST do is check the tire condition and brand. Tires, brakes and suspension issues are the most costly to repair and can do the most damage if something fails. Most used sales are "as is". Take it home...hook it up to water and electric and make sure everthing works. If the owner that has it can hook it up to both before you take it....even better. Find a good independant and honest RV service center and have them give it good once over..... maybe before you buy it.
