Unbelievably Blessed!
We made it home to OKC last night about 5pm. Heading to Wyoming now! We had a great time, enjoyed meeting everyone. Daughter, Micah, had a blast with everyone. She's already planning to go with me next year, too.
Jim, don't be surprised if she applies for her own username on here!
Liz, thanks for the toaster oven.

Be safe all!

Hi all,
Just wanted to say thanks to Jim B, the KOA, Heartland and all of the other sponsers for a great Rally. A special thanks to Michael Kidd for helping me get my computer working better. We are still here at the KOA and it is very quiet and empty without all of the other Heartlanders. We went to dinner last night with 3 other Heartland owners and had a wonderful dinner at the Fall Creek restaurant. We (Sheila and I) are going to the Chinese acrobat show this evening. We saw the COO of KOA walking around with the KOA owners just a little while ago. We will be hitting the road again tomorrow. Yall be safe on the road and see yall later.

Great Rally

Well, Mary and I have to agree with all the other posts that the rally was great! Great people, food and music. Lots to do in Branson. We had a 9:30 Sunday appointment with Weigh It, and after I pulled in the slides to leave and DW could not find the cat. Uh Oh! Long story short I had to take the bed slide apart to get him out. *&%## cat. We headed south to Tunica, (Robinsonville) Mississippi. Parked at the Hollywood Casino RV Park. Thanks to all the sponsors and special thanks to Jim for making it all happen.
We will be looking for a few recipes. Such as the the Raman noodle salad and the hash brown casserole.
Hope to see you all next year.

Thanks to Jim B and to Heartland RVS and all the other sponsors who helped make the 2008 International Heartland Owners Rally a great event. Thanks to the KOA of Branson for the great facilities and to the Heartland owners who helped Jim B, Marv ( Smokeybare), Terry (Terry H), and Evans (Evans & Lana Waller) and I know there are others, but I have had a senior moment or two, so THANKS TO ALL. :)

Had a good safe trip home, now it is back reality. Temp is 63 - cold. Visit at Finnegans in South Beloit, Il was fun. Looking at the BH3670 and the LM Augusta. I think Coley has been trying to land Finnegans as a LM dealer. I don't know if it is time for the new LM, but I think DW feels it is time for something new.

We're glad everyone made it home or whatever destination they had okay. We stayed at the park and will leave tomorrow morning. We did the night before preparations and should make it to Marshall Texas for the night and into Houston on Wednesday. We talked about driving straight through to Rayford, where Ricky and Dee live but I think it's just too far to go in one day.

OUr thanks to Jim and everyone else that helped put this thing together, and of course to Heartland and the other vendors that contributed to making this rally such a success.

Looking forward to seeing as many as can make it to Houston in October.

We also made it home safely. Stopped at Stanton, MO KOA about 3 yesterday afternoon, Jim Belletti, wasn't that you who passed us as we pulled off? You left before we did and we thought you were to be at Double J by 3--Hope there were no problems. Nan

Hi Paul and Nancy,

Yep - that was us, followed by Terry and Carol Herschberger. We made it to the Double J about 6pm. We stopped in Rolla, MO for a nice lunch with Terry and Carol at one of their favorite places in the area.

The generator has come in handy twice now for putting the girls in the trailer with the gen running and the air conditioning on. And three times for putting the dish down after I unhooked AC power but before I pulled away with the dish still up!

Great seeing you guys again and hope to see you at the Double J for the August (22-24) rally.

Guys sorry we missed the rally and getting a chance to meet all the ones who post on the forum AND all the other heartland owners. Hopefully next year I will get a chance to put faces to names. From reading all the responses of the rally, its apparent that heartland owners are #1.

Thank you!!

To our Heartland Owner friends.............

We want to take this time to thank each and every one of you for your sympathy and prayers during our son Scott's hard battle with Leukemia. As most of you know, Scott lost his battle on June 5th, a few days before the Rally. We heard it was very successful and lots of fun. Jim did a wonderful job as Rally Master.

We are on our property in Custer, SD for the rest of the summer. If you are in the area, please give us a call (850)294-0281. We would love to have you visit us.

Thanks again............Pat and Mike
