2013 Bighorn 3610re Sony Bedroom LCD TV

I tried for almost a hour today to remove the Sony LCD TV from the wall in our bedroom with no luck. Does anyone have a trick to removing this tv? I am trying to hook up a DVD player and need to remove the tv from the wall in order to plug in the HDMI cable. I can see two levers behind the tv on the wall bracket that I moved but it doesnt seem to phase the movement of the TV. Thanks for any input on this matter.

Here's a link to the manual for one of the wall mounting brackets - which may be the one you have. Note on page 6 the diagram showing a side view where a screw is loosened or tightened from underneath to allow the TV to pivot out at the bottom. It can then be lifted.

Been there, done that...took us days!

The levers are used only to hold the bottom of the TV away from the wall to attach cables....use a screw driver to access the set screws in the bottom of both vertical pieces of the bracket. Once the screws are backed all the way out, pull the bottom toward you and then lift up. Once you get it figured out it's easy...
