We purchased a 2017 Wilderness 2850 in January of 2017. We have always stored our trailer indoors and it has only been used maybe 10 times.
Before the 1 year warranty was out,we had troubles with the slide malfunctioning, just no power at the switch. Thinking it was a battery issue, we waited a bit and the slide started working again. This happened a few times again but very intermittently. We called our dealer (Blue Dog) and they said they couldn't do anything unless they could replicate it. This is impossible since it wasn't consistently occurring.
Fast forward a few months and we are now out of our one year warranty and the slide does not power at all. We took a trip to the Oregon Coast with our young kids, 6 hours from home and started panicking when we couldn't get the slide back in. We ended up having to manually bring the slide in so we could return home. We haven't used our trailer since because the slide is no longer functioning. Frustrating to say the least for a brand new trailer.
We know the motor is not the issue as my husband tested it by running power directly to the motor.
Has anyone had any issues with their slide not powering?
