3300SK Tires

I have a 2009 Sundance 3300SK with original Mission ST235 80R/16 load E radial tires and I want to replace them with Michelin ST235 85R/16 LT, sometimes rederred to as RIBS. The Michelin tires are 1/2 inch larger in diameter threreby putting the two tires closer together. Has anyone gone to a larger tire on their Sundance and had any issue with the tires rubbing or hitting each other? Any other issue with a larger tire? Also, can someone tell me what the maximum tire pressure my original wheel can handle, I think the Michlins require a higher tire pressure. Thanks for your input.

The Michelins' maximum air pressure is 80PSI that should be the same as what you have. I replaced my 235/80/16 tires with the 235/85/16 size and while they're a little closer together they work fine. I can still use my X-Chocks with them. The Michelins are the best Load range E tire you could put on your trailer..Don

Check the back of your rims to see if marked with a rating. Think 110 was cast on mine.
