6 pt. leveling system

Getting close to buying a 2014 BH 3010RE with 6 pt. leveling system. Was wonder if these leveling systems are worth the money? What is the general process to level with the 6 pt. auto system? ie., do you still have to level right to left the traditional way with boards?, then use auto level? Or is it as sime as, park, unhitched, hit the auto level bottom regardless of site contour? Thanks for bringing clarity to this topic.

It's typically the latter unless there is a great deal of difference - would need some boards then or you will get an error "out of stroke."

We love it - one of the reasons we went to a 2014 so that we could order RV with it. We did add 6X6X6 blocks. Coach is not only level but more stable.

Are these systems worth the money? I think so.
For me the procedure is, stop, unhitch, press 'Auto Level' and in about 40 seconds I am done.
If you happen to be on a site that is way off level you might have to do a bit of manual leveling before hitting the auto level button.
But in three years with the system I have never run into that situation.

Peace
Dave

great. I like it! What do you mean by 6x6x6 blocks? You put a block under each foot to reduce leg travel?

Pull into a campground, unhitch, push the button and watch the crowd go wild watching it do it's thing. ;)
I love it,I love it so much that if I had a horse I would name it "6 pt. leveling" lol
No seriously, I love it.

We've used leveling blocks only a couple of times in 4 months of coast to coast travel. It's my chore to press the auto level button to level her out. It's a rough job, but someone's gotta do it.

I questioned the whole 6 pt. leveling system thing myself before I bought my 2014 Cyclone this year with it. I am so glad that I did because it makes setup so much easier. I was amazed at the ease of it. And thats not all, when you are done camping and ready to hook back up to the TV, you hit the left and right buttons at the same time and the nose goes back to where it was when you unhooked the truck. I will never have a camper without it again. No question about it for me anymore.

Just took delivery of our 2014 BH 3010RE less than a month ago and have used the the six point leveling system several times now and don't understand how I did without it for so long . . . oh yeah, I had a TT and it wasn't available. IMHO it is worth every penny and a lot cheaper if it is installed when the unit is built. I particularly like the function that it remembers your landing gear height when you unhitched and will return to that height on command.

We've got that on our Landmark and I wouldn't own another RV if it didn't have the leveling system on it. When we pull into our site we just take a casual glance at the landing site of each leg and notice any that appear lower than the others. We always use at least one of those Lego looking leveling blocks for each plate, but on the legs that appear they will be lower than the rest we add enough of the blocks to bring them close to the others height. Then just hit the auto level button and in a minute we are ready to open a beer.

One more thought - the least expensive way to get it added to your trailer is added at the factory when they build your coach. We had the system put on our trailer at the rally this summer and, even with an excellent deal offered by Lippert (the leveling system manufacturer) for rally attendees, the cost was still higher than the factory option price.

Absolutely love my new 3010 with the level up. Make sure that your tailgate clears the kingpin when unhitching. Yesterday I didn't pull forward enough and when the level up started doing its thing, it started to come down on my tailgate. I panicked, but it stopped in time. I've only used it in 2 campgrounds and I sure didn't know how to stop in my panic mode.
