Ac compressor won't run except for dealer. Now won't shut off

Hey folks,
Just bought a 2010 M18 Edge and only fan runs on ac. Took to a dealer and they plugged it in and it, of course cools, but now won't shut off. What could it be? Should I just replace the fan speed switch? BTW it's a Dometic Penquin I think.

Hi Farmacist,

If the fan control on the thermostat is set to HIGH or LOW, the fan will run continuously. If set on AUTO, the fan runs only when the thermostat turns on the A/C. Thanks danemayer for the info. Turns out the compressor was shot anyway so I am replacing the whole unit. I bought the trailer with this possibility in mind so it's all good.
Can't wait to get on the road. Taking my shakedown trip next week to Harry S. Truman lake next week.
