AC on a xlr293re

We are trying to determine the BTU's of our ac on our new 2012 sundance.. We want to figure out what size generator we would need to run the ac.. unfortunatly there was not a booklet on the AC in our packet?? Any advice ?? Thanks

You can find the basic info on the Heartland RVs web site. It should be a 13,500 btu a/c. I would get nothing less than a 3000 genny.

Our XLT 29RE has the 15k BTU AC.

You might find our new Heating and Cooling Guide useful. I think page 7 discusses amperage for different size units.

I'm going to have to break ranks with Jimtoo, and lean toward 15,000 BTU along with JWalker. You should should be able to locate a tag with the model and size information by removing the cover on the roof. You also need to take into account all of the other AC and DC loads that you might need to use on generator power.
