I just updated my Lifetime Access Pass and it was $10. I think it's that price for disabled vets.

Lifetime pass gives 50% discount on basic camping fees at National parks, National Forest campgrounds, most Corps of Engineers campgrounds,

If you are serviced-connected disable, you can get a Disability Pass for "Free". We were at Yellowstone, and I asked if they knew when the new Military Lifetime Pass was coming out. The Ranger looked at my VA service-connected card and took my yearly Military Pass and said "you have the wrong card." He handed me a Lifetime Disability Card. Also, the Military Pass is "free" for veterans.
