Amazing wildlife video

I just got this via email, and thought everyone would enjoy it, hunter or not. It's of an eagle trying to have a turkey dinner. Looks like it was taken with a trail camera. The caption says it was a Golden Eagle, but it looks like a Bald Eagle.

That is a Bald Eagle for sure, I have a video of a Golden Eagle and a Bald eagle close to each other in 2009 July 5th. I need to get in gear and send to TWRA. There waiting to see it, AS there has never been one caught on video in Tn. Let along in July, we have a few pair of Bald Eagles nesting around Shiloh Park and Pickwick Dam here in West Tn.

I would say that this is in fact a Golden Eagle. Search for both and look closely at the markings. The Bald Eagle has much more white from the top of the head all away around the neck . This Eagle has the more Gold coloring on the head and wings and brown feathers under the beak at the front of the neck. I vote Golden.

Stripes on wings, lighter brown color, not a full white head

I vote golden.

Head has lots of white on it. Looks more like a young Bald Eagle to me. But I only get to see them about 5 days per week from Nov to June.

Pete, I can relate! My Wife was not always right... but she was never WRONG! The same could not be said for me.
